🩵REX 🩵
Our baby is home 😭🤍🥹

SO grateful for everything and everyone’s donations.

Lots of meds and more test results next week/ more bloods but we’re so happy to have him home and even more so back where he belongs before Christmas ♥️

My night tonight will consist of 0 sleep and sat staring at Rex FULL of anxiety but knowing he is back with me and Dan is unbelievable after the worst week ever.

Will keep everyone posted on Rex’s recovery journey x

Update on our little Rex 🩵

Our baby is out of critical care and on a day ward 😭🤍

He is still having treatment but this is the best news ever. Feel so fortunate we were able to fight for him and send him to specialists that have saved his life 🥹

Rex may finally be coming home to us soon but has to be on strict bed rest for 3 months when he does 🤞

Update on our little pup.🙏🏻

Before his procedure the anaesthetist found a heart murmur which made sedating Rex more dangerous than the first time. So he had a heart scan and after the most anxious wait ever, Rex successfully had his procedure to have a camera into his lungs and more scans whilst sedated.
As of now Rex is stable and getting stronger 🤞
The scan and camera showed no foreign body in his lungs but he does have extensive damage to both of his lungs which resulted in them filling full of blood. At the minute we still have no diagnosis for him but hopefully after samples come back tomorrow we may know more, as of now the vets think he may have a horrible infection but we are hoping by tomorrow we will know more and we will know what treatment is suitable.

As of now his total bill in Wakefield for 24 hours is just about £6000. That Is why I am so thankful beyond words for each donation helping us help Rex.

We are so hopeful and positive after today that Rex is going to be home for Christmas if we can work out which treatment he needs tomorrow.
