It’s not often I hijack my business page for personal causes- but this is not only personal for us, but for sooooo many families in the island .
The Daisy Bus has been a life line for my mum .For the last 2 years she has had consistent treatment in Southampton and has used the Daisy bus. She has the wrong kind of cancer and therefore has never qualified for hotel provision during treatment. To date, had she had to use a taxi service rather than the Daisy bus, it would have cost her £6000 in taxi fees alone - without the hotel fees that they have had to cover when she is too poorly or the weather is awful or it’s just too hard to get home on that day. The Faisy bus is a safety net. Patients breathe a sigh of relief when seeing the bus, knowing that they will get to their destination safely from that point. It’s not about money- it’s about reassurance, comfort, community and support .
The NHS is amazing and her Drs are incredible. But she has to get there and back … this is such a vital service. She sees people desperately ill who simply could not manage a bus or a taxi even iSave the Daisy Bushis service . Please, if you are island based, join this page , get involved and ensure that this provision continues for those who need it, for however long they need it.
Much love x

The Daisy Bus takes IW & Jersey cancer patients from the ferry and hotels to Southampton Hospital. The route was due to end on 20th August 2025. Thanks to YOUR support we have put an interim plan together and there is no interruption to service.
