We assessed Moose yesterday. Excessive barking and unable to settle was just a few things on the list of behaviours. Whilst chatting, Gareth just worked on resetting him, they took that home and had a super peaceful evening with him 👏 And we haven’t even started yet!

Can’t wait to start properly with Moose ❤️

Super busy at the moment - doing our best to keep up, and taking on someone to help with admin. But this is your reminder, even if you feel rushed off your feet, don’t take life to seriously. Missy keeps us in check for that 👀❤️

WE’RE HIRING - ADMIN & CLIENT SUPPORT🙋‍♂️

We’re looking for an exceptional, highly organised individual to join our team in a varied Admin & Client Support role.

This isn’t simply a desk-based admin position. You’ll become an important part of the day-to-day running of the business, helping us maintain the high standard of communication, organisation and client care that we expect throughout every stage of a client’s journey with us.

Your role will include creating professional client documents and reports, keeping records and information up to date, responding to messages and enquiries, sending client updates, managing general administration and helping ensure nothing gets missed behind the scenes.

You’ll also assist with dog handovers, speaking with owners, passing on relevant information and helping make sure clients receive a professional and organised experience when collecting their dogs.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident and professional when communicating with clients
• A strong written communicator
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Able to work independently and use their own initiative
• Reliable, consistent and capable of taking responsibility
• Confident around dogs
• Someone who genuinely takes pride in doing things properly

Previous experience within the dog industry isn’t essential, and you do not need to be a dog trainer. We’re far more interested in finding the right person who can become a dependable and valued part of the team.

This role has the potential to develop considerably for the right individual as the business continues to grow.

Location: Cowbridge
Hours: 25 rising to full time
Pay: NMW

If you’re interested, please send us your CV along with a short introduction about yourself, your previous experience and why you believe you would be a good fit for the role.

We’re looking for the right person, rather than simply filling a position.🤷‍♀️

Sometimes, you never know when your last walk will be. 💔

Today, our beautiful Ava, our golden girl, went to sleep for the final time. 🥹🌈

And God, this hurts. Ava helped more of our reactive dogs than we could ever count. She walked beside dogs who couldn’t cope with another dog in sight and quietly helped them realise the world wasn’t quite as scary as they thought. She was patient. She was kind. She was gentle.

She was also loyal to absolutely flipping nobody if someone else had better food. 😂 You could have known her for her entire life, but if a stranger appeared with a sausage, you were dead to her.

One of my favourite memories will always be walking along the beach at sunrise when a couple were having what looked like a beautiful, romantic little sunrise date. Ava heard foil, That was it. Romance interrupted by a dog who had absolutely no involvement in their relationship but felt very strongly that whatever was inside that foil concerned her. 😅 That was our Ava.

She didn’t need much from life. A walk, people she loved and preferably access to whatever you were eating.

She helped so many dogs without ever knowing she was helping them. To Ava, she was just coming along for the walk - and occasionally checking clients’ pockets for payment. There are dogs out there living bigger, happier lives because our golden girl once walked beside them.

But to us, she was just Ava. Our girl. Our teammate. Our food thief. 💛

I wish we’d known which walk was going to be the last one. I wish we could have had just one more.

Sleep tight, golden girl. 🌈
