💜🐾 Mickey, Nemo & Stitch - A Little Terrier Trio!🐾💜

Mickey was back in the cabin for his groom recently, and this time he brought along his brand new baby brothers, 14‑week‑old Nemo and Stitch, for their very first meet and treat session.

Mickey took his big brother role very seriously. He showed them around, helped them feel safe to explore, and the pups happily followed him from snuffle mat to snuffle mat.

Once they’d had a good sniff, a few treats, and lots of gentle reassurance, their guardian popped them home while Mickey stayed for his groom.

I can’t wait to welcome Nemo and Stitch back for their first puppy grooms, they’re already off to such a positive start thanks to their confident big brother.

Such a lovely little family to have in the cabin 💜

🐾 Hello Vader! 🐾💜

Sweet Vader was back in the cabin recently, and it’s been such a joy watching his confidence grow each time he visits.

He settled in beautifully and hopped up onto the table all by himself, ready to get started. Between gazing out of the window and enjoying some tasty treats, he found the whole process much easier to navigate, especially those tricky paw trims, which he is learning to manage with a bit of reassurance and patience.

He really is the gentlest soul, and it’s always a pleasure welcoming him back. Watching sensitive dogs like Vader build trust at their own pace is one of the best parts of what I do.

Well done lovely boy, you’re doing amazingly! 💜

💜🐾 Meet Teddy 🐾💜

As it’s been a while since I’ve posted, this week is giving me the perfect excuse to share some of the fabulous dogs whose company I’ve enjoyed lately.

Teddy came for his meet‑and‑treat session and loved it! He explored every corner of the cabin, found the treats on the table, and even hopped straight into the bath to investigate the licky mat.

All those little moments helped him feel safe and confident when he returned a few days later for his first groom at Paw Harmony.

He did so well! He relaxed enough to have a little lie‑down while I worked around him, taking everything in his stride. After a quick play and a happy reunion with his guardian, Teddy headed home looking gorgeous and feeling proud of himself.

A wonderful first chapter for a boy who’s going to thrive with gentle, positive grooming 💜

💜🐾 It’s been a busy (and very adorable) week in the cabin 🐾💜

This week has seen lots of wagging tails and little paws growing in confidence, especially from two gorgeous puppies learning the ropes of grooming.

Darcy came in for her very first puppy groom - a gentle brush, bath, dry and scissor tidy around her eyes and paws.

With plenty of praise, patience and a good helping of meat paste, Darcy learned that being groomed isn’t so scary after all!

She did amazingly well and is already booked in for her first big girl clipper cut in a few weeks.

Well done Darcy, I’m so proud of you💜

Bertie was back too, this time for his first big boy clipper groom - and he absolutely smashed it. The meat paste (and a few gravy bones) definitely helped, but when those early experiences are positive and tasty, we’re onto a winner.

Well done Bertie, see you again soon.

Two little stars shining bright this week 💜

💜🐾 Meet Bertie 🐾💜

Bertie the Cockerpoo puppy came in for his introduction groom, and what a joyful little whirlwind he was!

Before puppies are ready for a full groom (usually around 6 months), these gentle sessions help them get used to the sights, sounds and sensations of grooming in a calm, pressure‑free way.

Bertie had a bath and dry, plus a small scissor tidy around his eyes and paws to support future grooms. I also turned the clippers on so he could hear them and feel the vibration, offering rewards while keeping everything positive and at his pace.

He brought so much playful energy that we did most of the drying on the floor — following his lead meant he stayed happy and confident throughout.

I can’t wait to welcome him back for his first “big boy” groom. Well done, Bertie!💜

💜🐾 Meet Chester 🐾💜

Chester the Sprockerdor came for his first bath and de‑shed today after previously popping in just for a nail trim and what a sweet, sensitive soul he is.

Separation is something he finds really challenging, so we took everything slowly, with lots of reassuring cuddles along the way.

As long as he could keep some part of his body in contact with me, he was able to relax and trust the process.

With that little bit of support, he did brilliantly. Gentle handling, patience, and listening to what he needs will help him grow in confidence each visit.

He’s such a loving boy, and I’m so proud of him! 💜
