To end the day we have lovely news. Harry/Harry 3 Legs has left Fagin's to see how he manages in a home situation. No more hanging out at a large retail store & charming people into giving him Dreamies. He will have a loving home all to himself with his very own humans providing fuss food & love.
Apparently Harry spent most of the afternoon purring & purring & has already negotiated climbing the stairs.

Whiskery Wednesday greetings from Itsy. Our beautiful Bernards site girl was extremely brave & came out of her safe space hidey hole as I served suppers. I stood quietly talking to her & she didn't growl hiss or spit. I took my phone out to take photos & she started doing low rumbly growls to tell me ' back off lady!'
All on your terms sweetheart.

Binx has been reserved and will be heading off to his forever home this Friday.

His adopter, Ayah, has been getting everything ready for his arrival and sent us this photo of his brand new scratch tree (and toy) waiting for him.

It's safe to say Ayah is excited to welcome him home!

To end the day I'm going to share some photos of one of my own cats. Buster had to be euthanased by Vet Ross at lunchtime today, just short of his 13th birthday. Buster had been on meds for hyperthyroidism but drastically lost a huge amount of weight over the weekend. I guessed what the cause was & Ross confirmed after examining Buster, it was Lymphoma. Ross had supported my hand rear gang from 5 days old to their last day on earth & for that I'm grateful. I am heartbroken that I've lost another of my own cats, a total of 5 in 11 months, 3 to Lymphoma. Buster joins his brother Tuppence & his sister Scruffy at Rainbow Bridge , reunited with his hand rear siblings + Barney & Lucy.
No matter how many times I go through this it never gets any easier.
Run Free beautiful boy, I will miss your sweet face.

Monday greetings from Miss Fluffy. Her fur is growing back long & lush after her major dematt. If you remember the amount the vets shaved off looked like she had unbuttoned a coat & stepped out of it, sleeves & all! She was diagnosed hyperthyroid a few weeks ago & is taking her meds like a champ so will gradually be putting on weight.
Good girl Miss Fluffy.

Tonight's Goodnight kitties are besties Shouty & Bobbi. Previously they were enemies but now they hang around together....
