Hi all! FYI for today only. There was an incident somewhere between ours and Hessle golf club overnight that's meant the road is closed today. However, we have spoke with the police and you can still bring your dogs from the Cottingham end. There will be a road closed sign and cones in place. However, the police have advised me that it's ok to move them for access, as long as they're put back once passed them. This is to prevent through traffic, as there is no access from the Hessle golf club side. Also, for today only, our first gate will be in use. This is the one before the red barn and opposite the farm selling eggs at their gate, thank you :)

PayPal echeque payments; hi all, just a note to let you know that when you use PayPal, if you use an echeque within paypal, it takes a week to clear. This also means that because it hasn't cleared, the session will not get blocked off automatically on the system. So, if you book using this method, it could mean that someone else can select your requested time. If you have made an echeque payment in the last week, please contact me to let me know when it is for so I can make sure it's blocked off. Thank you.

Morning all! I just thought I would share this again as I've had a few more questions about how to book.a single session. On the payment screen, there os a drop.down to select between a package and a single session. Hope the video helps, and as always, I'm always happy to help, thank you :)

Package or single session? Hi all, I've had a few questions lately about how to book single sessions or packages. I've created a video (with sound) here to help and I'm always happy to answer questions. We offer both packages and single sessions. To switch between the 2, on the payment screen there is a drop down to switch between a package or a single session. It automatically defaults to the package option, but single sessions are still available 😀 if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help! Have a lovely day 🐾

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a lovely week! We've just had the grass cut in Freedom Field and it is looking wonderful today! Hopefully it will stay like this throughout the weekend too! We would love to see you all this week/weekend! Don't forget you can book individual slots per half hour (you can book as many on a row as you wish), and also our 11-4-10 packages, which give 11 slots for the price of 10! Starting off our sharing, we would like to welcome Anna Taylor DOG SPORT. They are new to the park and will be holding general obedience classes on Saturdays as detailed below. Hi all, we want to let you know that we welcome XL bullies here at Eppleworth Dog Exercise Park. This is an update as further rules began today. We have also had a further update from our insurance company advising of further T's & C's from today, 1st February 2024, which relates to all dogs on the banned breed list that we now have to follow;

1. You must have a Certificate of Exemption and you must have third party Public Liability insurance for your dog. Please make sure you can provide evidence of having these with you should it be required to view.

2. The ratio of humans to dogs on the banned breed list is 1:1 at all times whilst visiting the park. If you are bringing a mix of dogs, both on and not on the banned breed list, you will need a human for each dog on the list, and an additional human for the rest of the dogs you bring that are not on the list.

3. Your dog must be neutered and microchipped.

4. Your dog must be muzzled and on a lead no longer than 1 metre until inside the area you have booked with the gate closed.

Who you calling a bully? Now we are into the new year, I think most of us are aware of the current and upcoming legislation regarding XL bullies.

Firstly, I want to say my heart goes out to all those affected by this and to the XL bullies themselves.

Secondly, I want to clarify that we welcome XL bullies here. We believe that all dogs need the freedom of a safe space. There are a few things we need to abide by, however, which I'm sure you're all aware of. Some aren't directly relevant to the dog park, such as not selling, abandoning, giving away, or breeding an XL bully. As of 31 December 2023, it's also required to have an XL bully in public, they need to be on a lead and wear a muzzle. This is in addition to the existing legislation for all dogs, (not just the XLB's) you own to be microchipped.

Therefore, we are more than happy to welcome your XL bully friends and family members to our park. Please make sure that on arrival, for any breed on the banned breed list, you must make sure your dog is on a lead and muzzled from the vehicle you arrive in, right up to having the gate closed, once you are in you're booked area, and then again from inside the closed gate to your vehicle. Once inside the Field/Shed/Playground your XL bullies can be off the muzzle and lead to enjoy their safe space.

Additionally, from 1 February 2024, XL Bully owners visiting, will be required to have a Certificate of Exemption, which includes taking out relevant third party insurance.

We know it is a seriously tough time for XL bullies and their humans out there, but we will do all we can to make sure ALL dogs have a fun time here at the park!
