From the 1st January 2026 I will be reducing my hours in the salon even further and will no longer be working Saturdays.

This has not been an easy decision as I understand a lot of my Saturday customers will find it difficult to bring their dogs during the week but after working weekends for the majority of my adult life I am so ready now to be able to have a bit more free time and a bit more of a life, I feel I miss out on so much working weekends as it is normally the only time my friends/family are free.

I will be working three long days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday well into the evening to ensure I am able to accommodate those who can switch to midweek.

I wanted to let everyone know well in advance so we can make a plan for midweek appointments or I can help suggest other groomers in the area for those who will have to move ♥️
If all my Saturday customers could please contact me so we can discuss this.

I will also no longer be offering dog sitting in 2026.

I really hope you all understand my reasons for this and I do apologise for any inconvenience caused, it really has been a difficult decision and one I have been contemplating for a long time now.

Beautiful Bonnie came in today for her first visit 🐾

She was an absolute little star for her bath and blow dry and we also introduced nail clipping and the scissors.

It's so important to get puppies used to grooming from an early age, especially breeds like Bonnie who will need regular grooming throughout their lives 🐕❤️

Notice to customers 🐕🐾

I think I have finally caught up with all of my messages and booked everyone's next couple of appointments - if you are still waiting to hear from me please give me a shout and I will get back to you asap.

I do want to apologise for how bad I have been the last few months at replying to messages and getting appointments to people. Since opening all the way back in 2016 I have always prided myself on being super organised but life has been a bit mad lately and I have unfortunately let the business, in particular the admin side slip quite dramatically 🤦‍♂️.
So thank you for all sticking by me and forgiving my very slow replies and admin miss haps🙃😅

I am completely fully booked now until July so I am closing my books for the foreseeable.
Any new enquiries will be passed on to the other lovely groomers in the area 🐕🐾

Gwyddelwern is a little manic at the moment with road works and a convoy system, they are due to be here until the 31st so could I please ask that you all allow a little extra time for dropping off and collecting your dogs this month please 🙏

Lauren's Pet Services 2025 🐶🐾

As I am going part time this year my days in the salon will be reduced to Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and only two Saturdays each month.

Due to these reduced hours I am EXTREMELY busy and only have a handful of appointments left between now and mid May.

Please if you have not booked your dogs next two appointments get in touch with me asap 🙏
If you are still waiting to hear from me regarding your 2025 dates please give me a nudge.

Also just to allow smoother running of the business could I please remind customers of my policies:

🐶 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations outside of this time will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
🐾 Please arrive on time to drop off and collect your dogs 🙏
❌️Please do not bring your dogs to the salon if they have fleas, please ensure you are checking your dogs prior to appointments, especially if they are scratching.
🐕‍🦺 Please keep your dogs on leads in the estate and pick up any mess they make on the way down to the salon.
💵 Cash is the preferred method of payment if possible please.

The lovely Vicky will be very sadly leaving Lauren's Pet Services in the New Year 😢

Vicky has been with me since 2021 and the dogs have all loved her during her time working here, she has shown them so much care and love and I am sure they will all miss her dearly, but not as much as I will ❤️

Vicky, you've truly been my rock, my sanity, my shoulder to cry on and the best brew maker 💕
I dont think one day has passed by that we haven't been in fits of giggles.

You came here as an employee and are definitely leaving as one of my closest friends 🥰

Vickys last day will be Wednesday 15th January - due to my decision to also slow down a bit next year I will not be looking to replace her, this means I may have to decide which of the larger dogs I can still manage but I will be in touch with the larger breed owners to discuss 🥰😘

Christmas 2024 grooms ✅️🥳🥳

Last seven dogs done today and now for six glorious days off 🙌 I'm mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted 😅 but what a fun month it has been getting all your dogs ready for Christmas 🎅

Thank you so much to everyone for all of their incredible support this year, the business gets busier and busier year on year and I will always be so so grateful ❤️

Thank you to my right hand woman Vicky and also to Tina for their help and friendship again this year.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and I look forward to seeing all my customers - canine and human again soon 😘🐶💕
