Good morning. Calling all ladies who walk their dogs alone.

There are still places available on both days on the dog walkers basic 2 hour self defence mornings being held on the 1st and the 8th February. 10.30am - 12.30pm Corfe Mullen village hall. £15 a session. 😊 (see my earlier post )

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS POST ...

Here is the cost and the dates for the introduction to self defence session.
It will be at Corfe Mullen Village Hall (behind the Co-op) from 10.30-12.30 on Saturday 1st February or Saturday 8th February.
Cost is £15 per session.
Please let me know ASAP which Saturday you would prefer or if your happy with either.

This is aimed at females who walk dogs ... your own or someone else’s in CorfeMullen/Broadstone/Wimborne area.

After reading about a lady who’s dog was stolen after being approached by someone with a knife, it made me feel very vulnerable.

So I’ve made some enquiries and a friend’s husband Marcus is a karate teacher & has been for years working for Lorraine box (previous Phoenix next to CM petrol station). Marcus specialises in Wing Chun too & has previously held Self Defence Classes. He would be happy to run a class if he can get a room at either the village hall, church etc.

Jenny says “he could instruct up to 20 and is happy to accommodate a smaller number too. Marcus is always keen for people to know how to defend themselves. it's so important and some techniques are easy which will stay with you for life. If you are faced in a situation where you are comprised and you know some techniques, you've a fighting chance .... you don't need to be fit or strong. “

So who fancies this ?
I said I’d get back to him with numbers and then he can work out the cost.
