My name is Claire and I am the proud owner of a modern, fully equipped mobile dog grooming salon based near consett, county Durham and covering the surrounding areas. I've had dogs all my life and my passion in animals pushed me to follow my dream and become a dog groomer. I've recently gained an Advanced Certificate of Excellence in Dog Grooming. I am very patient, sympathetic and meticulous whic

h will allow me to groom your dog with comfort whilst getting the best results. The welfare and comfort of your dog is my number one priority therefore, the use of my state of the art, modern salon outside your door will eliminate as much stress to your dog as possible. No travelling to and from salons, no waiting around for his/her turn, a one to one experience aiming for both you and your dog to be as comfortable with the grooming process as possible. For nervous dogs I am able to spend more time where required and even come and meet your dog and introduce him/her to the van and equipment before beginning any treatment. I can also offer an introductory puppy package to ensure your dog has the best first experience possible.

Hi all!
The time has come for me to hang up my scissors ready for our little Miss arriving. I think I've got through to everyone now to let you know. Apologies to those who were booked in but its doctors orders unfortunately ☹️ were both ok but need a close eye on us from now on 🩷 I will keep you all posted on plans for returning and will try to get back as soon as i can. Hi all 🩷
I hope all is well and everyone is getting back into the swing of life after the crimbo period. Just to keep you all in the loop... I'm looking to work up until mid march time (bump dependent) where I will be taking a little time off before she arrives. That being said if I need to go off sooner I will let everyone know asap. I dont have anyone lined up to cover me as such but can recommend a few lovely groomies in our area while I'm out of action. I can't say exactly when I'm looking to come back for obvious reasons but I aim to be back as soon as I can and looking like a few months, again ... bump dependent! I'd like to thank you all for supporting my little business and me of course over the past few years and as much as I'm going to miss you all while I'm off I cant wait for you to all meet the latest member of the team 🩷 if I can ask everyone to please have their hounds on leads before opening the door to me please as a few do jump up and knock me. Also, where possible if any medium and bigger dogs need carried to the van could you please be available to do this for me please.

And that is it folks... 2024 is done!!

Thankyou all for yet another amazingly successful year of business 🥳🥳 I am overwhelmed in the generosity and kindness you have given me this past year and you all make me feel a very, very lucky girl. I'm still lucky enough to run my little business with the most amazing people I could ask for supporting me... it honestly doesnt feel like work 🩷

Its always heart breaking to reflect on the boys and girls who havent made it this year 🐶 sending love to those who have lost and it really feels like theres been a lot this year... I feel the huge loss as all your dogs mean the world to me ❤️ xx

There's been some big life changes here at Posh Paws HQ and we have some big news to share ... this year has been an absolute whirlwind for me personally and we will be welcoming a new member to the team next year... Lilly and Skye will be becoming big sisters in the spring 🩷🤰💙 as promised when I find out if we're team 🩷 or 💙 I will post on here 😍🐢😍 I will be continuing to work as long as I can up and filling my diary up until march time but I promise I'll be back as soon as I can get back in the van to see you all.

Well jetlag has been a killer this week but I'm so lucky to work with some of the sweetest pooches in town 🩷 if anyone is waiting to hear back from me re appts please give me another nudge as my brain hasn't been able to keep up with everything lately sorry! My books are now closed to new customers for the remainder of the year. I'll just be prioritising you lovely regulars. Good evening all
I have a sooner than expected adventure planned mid to late Sept so will be contacting people to jiggle around appointments to before and after my trip ✈️🩷
That being said I'm going to be very busy up until mid October because of this. If anyone hasn't booked in advance I'd advise doing so so you don't have to wait for my return 🌏

So I think I've got back to everyone now 🙏 if anyone else is waiting to hear from me please give me a little nudge. Thankyou all so much for being so patient with me lately ❤️ just a reminder to book as early in advance as you can as its looking like 6 weeks for my next appointment at the moment.
