The face behind The Dog Den 👋🏼 … this week I celebrated my 30th birthday!! So let’s give you 30 things you may not know about me!
1. We have been open 8 years now!
2. I was once sat front row at Paul Smith and got branded a “Dog Wanker”, which was then streamed all over socials 😅
3. We were one of the first clinics to launch in the North East and are the only one still open from the OGs.
4. I am massively obsessed with bull breeds.
5. I used to mentor other clinic owners across the UK on how to ultrasound scan.
6. My first dog was a Jack Russell who cost a whopping £20. 🐶
7. I shipped one of my fluffy French Bulldogs all the way to Puerto Rico.
8. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management 🎓
9. I have worked in the finance sector since I was 16.
10. When I was little, I was obsessed with reading a dog breed book, which is probably why I can spot what’s in a crossbreed a mile off 😂
11. My go-to takeaway is Greek! 🇬🇷
12. I’ve just completed my first ever solo trip to Italy! 🇮🇹
13. The most I’ve ever spent on a dog was… £10,000.
14. The most I’ve ever spent on dog semen was… £5,000 🤯
15. I am massively extroverted.
16. I have ADHD, which explains a LOT 😅
17. I’d absolutely love a Doberman!
18. I am late for most things… besides dog appointments 😂
19. I am the WORST at answering the phone, sorry!
20. I am obsessed with Harry Potter. 🧙
21. My go-to drink is Disaronno, cranberry juice & a slice of lime. Don’t knock it till you try it!
22. I was blonde as a child, brunette for most of my life and have now returned to the blonde side 👱🏼♀️
23. My greatest achievement is my business.
24. I’m ridiculously competitive, especially with myself.
25. I’m a last-minute type of gal.
26. I gained a s**t tonne of weight, then lost it all naturally 💪🏼
27. Weights over cardio, every day of the week.

29. I work all day and all night, I genuinely never relax 😂
