🌟 Post of recognition 🌟

Time for a little catch up on how well you guys have been doing recently ☺️

A huge congratulations to Jen and Vega for qualifying for the Pawsability Finals to be held at the Bath and West showground next summer!
Your partnership is really starting to shine and you're certainly finding your flow together out on those courses now - well done! 🙌

I also want to highlight just how well Anita and her dog Prue are doing at agility. They've been coming to our foundation classes for a couple of months now and Prue is really starting to click on all this tunnel and jumping malarkey.
Being a PBGV, she's not exactly the sort of dog you'd associate with agility, but she's loving it! Well done guys! 🤩

🌟 Course running workshop 🌟

As requested by some 😉, I am putting on another course running workshop! 🥳

This is your chance to run sequences and get help with planning your runs - exploring different handling options, best path to take, how to walk a course etc....

Suitable for grades 1-4, the workshop will run from 10am-12pm on Saturday 25th October at Dog Central in Hewish.

We went to the Evolution Agility show this weekend. Our last camping weekend of the year.
It's a fabulous show - great venue and equipment, wonderful rosettes and trophies, evening entertainment and a great exercise area, would highly recommend putting it on your agility show calender!

Ginny had a lovely clear in agility and Tika had a day of eliminations! 😂
She was a tad excited as she hasn't done any shows since August.
It's important when things don't go to plan, to take the positives and we had great bits in all the runs that we did. The video I've shared is of an "oh so nearly" run. Tika did everything I asked her to, including turning left after the A frame 🤦😅

I had the pleasure of judging yesterday and really enjoyed it. Fabulous partnerships on display, some cracking dogs out there 🤩

Glorious morning out on Crook Peak with the dogs today ☀️❤️
The girls had a blast running around and the views were stunning! 🌅

Just remember when walking in places like these to look out for 🐑🐎🐄 👀 and to keep your dog on a lead when livestock are present or at all times if their recall is a bit iffy!

Training has resumed with a bang this week! 🔥
We had our groups on Thursday night, who were all fabulous - video of the foundation class below ⬇️

Then today we managed to dodge the 🌧️ and have a jump skills workshop held outside at the Dog Central venue.

More workshops are in the pipeline so get any requests for topics in now!...... 🤔

I also have spaces in my foundation class starting on Thursday 9th October at 5pm for dogs aged 6 months plus 🐶

🌟🇮🇹 IMCA 2025 🇮🇹🌟

Well what can I say, my first international and it was a blast!
We've had a truly wonderful time in Italy representing team UK at the International Mixed and Breed Championship Agility competition.
It was also the Para-agility World Championships and to see some of these handlers so determined to get their dogs around a course despite their limitations was inspiring ❤️

💜 Ginny - silver medalist in small team jumping 🥈🤩

Our team came 2nd in the small team jumping last Thursday!!! 🥳
Ginny put in a cracking run but the monkey ran past jump 3 then went in the tunnel so we got eliminated 😅🤦‍♂️
Our team mates pulled it out the bag with their runs and helped us to get the 2nd place.
In agility on Friday we had another great run but picked up 15f total (with some other close calls in the middle!).

Overall our team finished in 4th place, just missing the podium bronze position.

We've had a great time all round with some other great results in the team too including one of our para handlers winning the world championship gold medal 👏🇬🇧

On our way home now and feeling pretty tired but so thankful for this amazing opportunity that we have been given 🥰

Team training and opening ceremony completed yesterday. Such a busy but fun afternoon! Ginny was very excited to get to do some agility 🤣

Today the competition starts - we're running in the small team jumping which isn't until later this afternoon.

We're here! We completed our journey to north east Italy yesterday after enjoying a couple of days in south east France.

We visited Lac d' Aiguebelette on Sunday which was truly wonderful 🏞️ as well as a beautiful waterfall called Cascades du Grenande.

Enjoying a day to ourselves today before it all starts tomorrow with team training and Vet checks 😁🤩

Thank you to everyone who has helped us to get here including Mathilde Granger at Vet & Physio, Rachel at The Renew Centre and Nikki Dew of Cruise Control Canine massage.

We arrived at 10.30pm last night to a beautiful chalet near Champagneux in France.

The views this morning when we woke up were phenomenal 🌅💕

Time for a day of chilling and exploration before our final leg tomorrow to Italy.

Thank you so so much to everyone who donated to the IMCA team raffle.
Personally, I have managed to raise £194!!! 😱🤩

This will be added together with all the fundraising from other team members, and once the raffle prize money has been deducted, the rest will help to cover costs to get everyone to Italy.
