Ruby 🐾 this is ruby a lovely rescue she’s 9 years old her owners have been grooming her but decided to try have have her done properly but we’re unsure due to her not liking new people and being very unsure.
When I met her I got down to her level and allowed her to sniff my hand she did have a grumble at that point.
I reassured her owner that once he’s out of view she will have to gain trust with me and bond with me for me to be able to groom her. I did think we may have a few issues but this girl with a few treats gained trust and didn’t put a paw wrong. I always take my time and let them know I trust them to allow them to trust me.
Her owners were very happy with the outcome and are re booking her in.
Jobs like this make me feel good about what I do.

My little poppet has missed me so took her with me to go see briska. She’s not been off lead away from home and isn’t a huge fan of horses but she’s getting better. She’s allowed to take herself to the car though when she’s getting a bit unsure she’s such a good girl. 🐾
