Calm moments that once felt out of reach 💙

Isaac’s family recently returned from a two-week holiday with Mav, their Autism Assistance Dog. For them, this wasn’t just a trip. It marked real progress.

Before Mav, everyday things like sitting in a café or visiting busy places were too overwhelming. This time, Mav helped Isaac stay calm and supported his brothers too.

"We even got a compliment on how well-behaved the boys were. That has never happened before."

These quiet moments reflect the kind of change that matters. With the right support, what once felt impossible becomes possible.

This week, we celebrate the dedication behind every assistance dog partnership, including the vital work of our trainers who prepare dogs for life in public settings.

A heartfelt thank you to Costa Drive-Through in Congleton for welcoming our team during public access training and for recognising the dedication it takes to prepare assistance dogs for real-world settings.

Pictured here: trainers Jemma (left) and Daisy (right) with two of our trainees enjoying a calm moment inside Costa.

We especially appreciate the treats for our human trainers, too – they’re definitely earning them! 💙

If you follow us, you might recognise Jasmine and her autism assistance dog, Indie. For , we’re celebrating their journey and how Indie helps Jasmine access the world on her own terms.

As an autistic person, Jasmine experiences sensory overload and finds sudden changes or crowded, noisy spaces especially overwhelming. With Indie, though, she’s travelled into the city, visited the Disney Café, and celebrated her birthday at Build-a-Bear. Indie provided safety and calm, even stepping in to prevent a meltdown.

Jasmine’s special interest is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and thanks to Indie, she made it through a busy theatre visit to see actor Nick Blood—and even met him afterwards.

At college, Indie helps Jasmine stay calm and focused, often just by being there when she needs comfort.

💙 Their partnership shows that autism assistance dogs offer more than trained tasks. They bring access, confidence, and calm to everyday life.
