Just a quick post to let you know I’ve emailed all of my regular clients today with an important salon update, including details of my annual price increase.

Hey everyone! 👋

I realised it’s been a little while since I last shared some before and after grooming photos, so I thought I’d post a few for you all to enjoy.

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful customers for your continued support. I really do appreciate every one of you.

I hope you’re all keeping cool in this warm weather! ☀️ Please don’t worry about your dogs while they’re with me – the salon is fully air-conditioned throughout the summer, so it’s kept nice and comfortable. I’ve also been very happy to welcome all of the shorter summer trims recently to help keep everyone feeling cool and comfortable.

I also wanted to give you a little heads-up that there will be a small price increase. Your updated prices will be available to view in your client portal in due course. If you’ve joined me more recently, this won’t affect you as you’re already on the current pricing.

Although I don’t post on Facebook as often these days, I’m still very much here! The reason you don’t see as many updates is simply because I’m no longer taking on many new customers, I don’t want to draw attention and disappointment people.

The next appointments for regular clients rebooking are in September. I will be away a week in august as usual, so this slightly delays bookings. Anyone that hasn’t rebooked please remember that once you’re out of the diary, it’s very hard for me to get you back in. If you haven’t rebooked after your last appointment and have gone over 12 weeks or more you are removed from the system to allow for possible new client’s. I’m asked constantly for appointments and if you don’t keep up a regular schedule I can’t offer the level of service I’m used to giving, especially if your pet requires special handling.

To my caravanning clients :-

Thought I’d put this on here as I know many of my clients are caravners or have motorhomes. Unfortunately we lost our lovely Callie on Saturday. This was a site that we had planned to go with her and our other 2 dogs. It’s meant to be pet loving and friendly. They do not have a holding area if your late. They absolutely will not let you in, and I don’t want anyone to experience what we did. I have the pet grooming channel on YouTube, but I just set up a separate channel for “beyond the pet salon” for places and things we/I experience in our motorhome. I spoke to a few of you about and said I would share. The site information is in the description of the video. As you will see we were really looking forward to it and then bam 💥Saturday we got to another site and we got to spend some equally time with her.

IMPORTANT 🙏🏻
Just a little update for all my clients 🐾

As many of you know, I’m a pet-focused groomer first and foremost. Everything I do is about what’s best for the dog or cat in front of me.

Over recent months, I’ve had a few clients where circumstances have changed—distance, busy lives, and day-to-day commitments can make regular appointments harder to keep. When that’s happened and I haven’t had anything suitable to offer, I’ve helped find a trusted groomer closer to home so their pet’s routine doesn’t get out of hand.

If they decide to stay with that groomer and it makes life easier at home while keeping their pet happy and well cared for, then that’s exactly what matters—and I’m always happy to have helped in that process.

I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet, especially with some of the recent things being shared on social media around poor or worrying handling. It’s something I take very seriously, and I always want owners to feel confident and comfortable with whoever they choose.

I’ve also, sadly, lost quite a few lovely clients recently who have crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈🐾 which is never easy. Some families are now returning with new puppies, which is always special to see.

As long as I have space, and they fall within the small to medium dogs I cater for, I’m always happy to welcome returning clients back.

With cats, I’m still a little cautious about taking on new ones due to my hand issues, but please do still ask and I’ll always do my best to advise or help where I can.

On the same note, prices will be changing gradually over time rather than all at once. Your individual grooming charge will always be available to view through your client portal. Any newer clients who have joined recently will already be on the revised pricing, so this will continue as it is.

I do still keep a waiting list for brand new clients, so I’m happy to take your details should a regular slot become available. You’re always welcome to message and make sure I have your details on file.

Just to note, client details are removed from my system after 12 months in line with data protection guidelines, so you may need to re-register if it’s been a while.
