Unfortunetly we have a young black and white female cat brought in by a member of the public last night that has sadly passed away.
She is microchipped but we cannot reach her owner
Please contact the practice if you believe this is your cat.

It's currently Guinea-pig awareness week!
We love seeing your furry piggies here at Congleton Vets.

Did you know that much like their namesake, males are called boars and females are known as sows ?

Neutering is recommended for both sexes, especially sows who are at high risk of developing cystic ovarian disease. One of our vets, Struan, performs this at Congleton Vets. It involves a surgical incision on both flanks, and the o***y is surgically (and carefully!) removed this way.

Have you got a Guinea-pig at home? Please share a pic in the comments below.
And for further information and advice, check out the Guinea Pig Alliance website. 😊🐾✂
