🐾❤️ A Visit to Jollyes with Hunter ❤️🐾

Today Hunter enjoyed another trip to Jollyes in Congleton, where he received the usual warm welcome from Andy and the fantastic team.

As we stood looking around the store, it really made us reflect on just how much support Jollyes has given Adopt A Rescue Dobermann UK from the very beginning. Long before many people knew who we were, Jollyes believed in what we were trying to achieve and have continued to support us every step of the way.

Through food donations, collection points, supplies, encouragement and simply being there whenever we need them, they have helped us make a difference to the lives of so many dogs. As a rescue, we simply couldn’t do what we do without support like this.

We are also incredibly fortunate to be based in Congleton. The kindness and generosity shown by the local community never ceases to amaze us. Whether it’s donating food, sharing our posts, fostering, adopting, volunteering, or simply cheering us on, the people of Congleton have helped us build something very special.

We truly are blessed to have such a supportive community around us.

Today was another reminder that rescue isn’t just about the dogs in our care. It’s about people coming together, local businesses supporting local causes, and a community that genuinely cares about animal welfare.

🐾 Rodney’s Special Visit to Jollyes, Congleton 🐾

Today Rodney popped into Jollyes and, as always, was met with the warmest welcome from the team and customers alike. ❤️

It’s hard to believe that not so long ago Rodney’s future looked very different. He was due to be put to sleep, but thanks to rescue, transport volunteers, foster carers, and the support of our local community, he was given the chance he deserved.

Now look at him — happy, full of life, making friends wherever he goes, and proving just how important rescue work really is.

At Congleton Dog Rescue, they are still a relatively new rescue, but stories like Rodney’s remind us why we do what we do. Every dog deserves an opportunity, and with the support of our community, they can continue stepping in when dogs have nowhere else to go.

If you are ever at our tills you will know that we ask you to donate a tin of food. This is the difference the customer is making. Helping brilliant charities like Congleton dog rescue. Not only do we make our dogs feel welcome when they visit, but we also support through collection points and donations of food and supplies. That support makes a real difference to the dogs in their care.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone in Congleton who supports both our rescue and Jollyes. Local businesses supporting local rescues, and local people supporting local businesses, is what makes communities like ours so special. ❤️
