Last day with this shy puddie cat... and she finally let me in 🐾 😻 ❤️ Those few cuddles were worth the wait.

😂 Sneezed. Once. ALL three went. Gone. Vanished.

Looking after three very shy little souls this week, and let me tell you — earning their trust is a proper workout 😼 One ill-timed sneeze and they scattered like I'd set off a firework in the hallway. Not my finest moment.

But we're making progress! Slowly but surely, each one is creeping a little closer, holding eye contact a little longer, and even letting out the occasional curious chirp. It's all about patience with shy cats — no rushing, no forcing, just letting them come to you in their own time 🐾

That's the beauty of in-home cat sitting. Nervous cats get to stay in their own territory where they feel safest, and I get to put in the time and gentle persistence it takes to win them round. One cuddle at a time 💛

Did you know today is National Jelly Bean Day? 🍬 Neither did we — but frankly any excuse for sweets is fine by us.

Now, we should be crystal clear: jelly beans are absolutely NOT for cats. No matter how convincingly yours stares at you like you've personally wronged them by not sharing. 😼 But you know what IS sweet? Coming home to a happy, relaxed kitty who's been properly looked after while you've been off having your own adventures.
