📢 Tank Capacity – Important Information 🐠💧

We’ve recently had a situation with a customer who did not understand how tank capacity is legally measured.

📏 Capacity is calculated using the official method under the Weights and Measures Act 1985:
👉 Length × Width × Height (cm) ÷ 1000 = Litres

Filling a tank with jugs or buckets is not a legal measurement method and always gives a lower number.
This is because tanks should never be filled to the very top and fittings, bracing and water level safety margins reduce the actual amount of water. A 29 L tank holding around 22–23 L is therefore completely normal and not misdescribed.

⚠️ We strongly recommend that customers familiarise themselves with the regulations and measurement standards before making false accusations or threatening us with Trading Standards.

❌ Abusive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
🚫 Customers who act in this manner will not be served in our store.
