January starting off busy, with lots of lovely horses being treated after their Christmas breaks (in the hope, that Spring is on the way! πŸ˜…πŸ™)

A little focus on one of my favourite horses to treat ..... Meet Fab, a 19 year old dressage horse. He only has one eye, so has to compensate his posture to accommodate his restricted vision. He's always super interesting to treat, but mostly he really lives up to his name. Just the most charming, well mannered horse & he is always really open to his treatments. He should feel much better after his treatment this week and I treat him around every 6-8 weeks to keep him as straight as possible.

Mid November & safe to say all my wonderful clients & horses are keeping me VERY VERY BUSY! πŸ˜… So grateful for all your support & been seeing so many positive changes in the horses which is unbelievably satisfying. 🐴❀️

There are literally one or two spaces left before the end of the year 🀯 so if you'd like to be seen, do get in touch.
I'm already booking into 2023.

There will be a small increase in charges for next year. All my regulars - either you know this already, or I'll let you know the difference on your next appointment. I haven't put my prices up for 12 years, so have definitely tried my best to keep it fair for you!

** UPDATE FROM EQUINE SPINAL**

As we are back into full Lockdown, obviously there are more changes to my treatments & appointments. I have already been in touch with this week's appointments & these have chosen to postpone to later dates.

If the appointments are routine or the horses are not essential to be seen, it seems sensible to wait until Mid-February when (hopefully) the Lockdown will ease.

If you are booked in & still want to be seen as your horse is in need, this is fine to continue, but to be done on a strictly 1 on 1 basis, in an outdoor location & with handler & myself wearing masks.

Please see the RAMP recommendations below too! Stay Safe, Everyone! 🐴❀️

"News from the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners...

Update from RAMP
RAMP Council is aware of the anxiety and confusion that the current lockdown restrictions have caused to many of our Registrants and our animal owners. We therefore feel it is necessary to repeat much of the advice given in March 2020.

Government advice is to go to work unless you can work from home. If going out to give care to animals we expect you to make a professional judgement to be sure that it is safe for both you and the animal owner to do so. Checking whether the owner has been in contact with anyone with covid symptoms and if they are currently well is essential. Do a risk assessment and record it prior to the visit.

Social distance where possible and use appropriate PPE and do what you can to minimise any contagion. Keep a close eye on RCVS and Government guidelines and we will also update you should any changes come to light.

It is important to us that our Registrants stay safe and that we consider the welfare of both our animal clients and their owners and give care where it is needed.

The RAMP team"

Wishing all my fabulous Clients & their horses a VERY Happy Christmas πŸŽ„
It's been a crazy 2020 & I'm so grateful for all your support.
I'm taking a break now until January to recharge my batteries as you've kept me very busy! 😴
I have plenty of you booked already for 2021, but do get in touch if you'd like a visit in the New Year.
Restrictions obviously continue but we continue to keep working on with all the appropriate safety protocols in place.
It's going to be a strange end to the year, but hope you & your horses have some rest & relaxation together ❀

Shared via a fellow Mctimoney Corley practitioner.....but an excellent description of what it is we do!
One of the many reasons I love this treatment & can see and feel the benefits for all horses!

The modern horse chiropractor will not go about β€˜cracking joints’ but treating the neuromuscular and skeletal system in a very targetted and skilled way.

Treatments update:
The diary is nearly full for the rest of June, but taking bookings for July.
As restrictions start to ease, a few minor changes for the better.....dogs are totally fine to be around on the yard (so Fig is happy too! 🐾❀) and very happy to take cash for your treatments. If you can just please pop the money in an envelope instead.
I am starting to do multiple yard visits on one day too, but following strict guidelines on disinfecting etc. to avoid any cross contamination.

Busy June ahead, but looking forward to seeing everyone again! Thank you all for your support and patience. πŸ₯°πŸ™
