Penny & Gizmo came in for their regular de-shedding session today 😻✨

Regular grooming doesn’t just keep their coats looking beautiful. It helps remove all that loose, dead undercoat before it ends up floating around the house, stuck to your clothes, or swallowed during self-grooming. Because apparently cats believe every surface should come with a complimentary layer of fur. 😂

Regular de-shedding can help:

reduce shedding around the home

prevent knots and matting

remove loose undercoat

keep the coat healthier and more comfortable

reduce the amount of hair swallowed and potentially help with hairballs

Ernie’s first session of mat removal and a thorough brush-out is done! Just look at how much loose fur we managed to remove 😳

Ernie is such a calm and patient boy, which makes sessions like this an absolute pleasure. We worked gently and took our time to keep him comfortable throughout the whole groom. 🐾

11-year-old Sunny and her very first Full Spa ❤️🐾

Sunny is such a quiet and gentle girl. She’s not the biggest fan of water 😅, but a proper bath was definitely needed to freshen up her coat, help remove the dandruff and get rid of all that loose, dead fur.

Just look at how much came out! 😳 And the result? A beautifully soft, fresh and smooth coat ✨

Mobile visit with beautiful Rosie 💗

Just look at that happy little face 😂

Rosie was a little scared of the dryer, so we worked on the lowest setting, keeping everything calm and gentle. After a while, she realised it wasn’t so scary and was able to relax. 🥺🐱✨

That’s exactly why I always adjust the grooming session to each individual cat — no rushing, no forcing, just working at their pace. 💕

⚠️ This wasn't a typical lion cut.

The matting on this cat was extremely severe — large, solid mats covered almost the entire body and were sitting very close to the skin.

Because of how tight they were, we couldn't simply run clippers underneath them safely. The coat had to be removed slowly, carefully and section by section, always prioritising the cat's comfort and skin.

In cases like this, the goal isn't to create a perfect-looking haircut. The goal is to safely free the cat from a painful, heavy matted coat and give the skin a chance to breathe again. ❤️

Severe matting can constantly pull on the skin, restrict movement and cause significant discomfort.

And this is exactly why I’m here — to help the cats that need a little more time, patience and care. 🐾

Sometimes grooming is about appearance.
Sometimes it's simply about relief.
