Please support Matt who is raising money for us with a sponsored skydive. Help him to help us help more animals like little Tulip who was abandoned with a horrific leg injury resulting in amputation. Thanks to our intervention, she is now doing incredibly well.

More wonderful signage, this time at Prettygate (Colchester). Our staff, volunteers and most importantly, our customers are loving the new look. We pretty pleased to have been given a grant for this so it doesn't affect the money we raise for our vital animal welfare work. 🐾🙂💙

Calling out to agengies or individuals working with people struggling with money.
We have vet clinics set up in Chelmsford and Colchester who can help pet owners who are on means tested benefits. Our prices are sensibly set so that people can afford to get the care their pets need and leave them with more money to spend on what they need. If you'd like any leaflets or if you need one of us to talk to you and your colleages, please let us know. With you help we can help more people and their pets. Thank you 🐾🙂💙

Please note: Our animal care advice aims to help owners meet their animal’s needs as required by law. We receive many calls from members of the public concerned about the welfare of animals, each one is assessed to determine the level of suffering. As a charity with limited resources we’re not always able to respond in the way that would be ideal or as quickly as the emergency services can. In some instances we may not be able to respond at all, due to the way the RSPCA must prioritise the welfare concerns that are brought to our attention.
