**friendly advice** as this heatwave seems to be staying with us and all our dogs are getting less exercise than normal and not as active at home, it’s worth cutting down their food in accordance to their exercise to avoid unnecessary and unwanted weight gain. 3 out of my 4 have been on reduced rations from the 1st day their exercise changed. People often underestimate the harm that is caused by our dogs being overweight. Don’t kill them kindness. G x

GRASS SEED SEASON!! It’s that dreaded time of year again where it’s impossible to avoid the dogs picking them up, one of my dogs inhaled a grass seed yesterday and a trip to the vet, sedation and a camera up his nose removed a nasty seed from the back of his nose. Please give your dogs a check over every day especially in their feet and eyes. These slippery little suckers travel fast and can do a lot of damage.
