Fletchers Farm Livery yard looking for a groom.

We are looking for a full-time groom or part time grooms to join our team. Must be reliable, work at a fast pace, alone and as part of a team. The roles include general yard jobs with no ridden work. Days can be discussed but will be between 8am - 5pm and include some weekend hours.

Applicant must have equine knowledge, but training provided so previous equine work experience would be a bonus but not essential.

Driving licence necessary. Trial period required. Yard located in Fordham.

Due to livery yard expansion we require a livery assistant who is able to work at a fast pace, alone and as part of a team. The roles includes general yard jobs with no ridden work. Days can be discussed, but will be between 8am - 5pm and include some weekend hours. Must love horses and be confident when handling different breeds. Applicants are not required to have previous equine work experience because training will be given, but must have a general knowledge of horses and their needs. Driving licence necessary. Trial period required.

Full time Groom required for maternity cover to start February

Fletchers Farm Riding School is a BHS, Pony Club & ABRS approved riding school based in Fordham, near Colchester.
We are seeking an experienced groom to join our team for a maternity cover contract. The role will involve all yard duties and working with the team to ensure lessons run on time and the yard runs efficiently.
The post could further involve occasional schooling of the horses and escorting hacks for the right person but this is not an essential requirement. The ideal person must be reliable, hard working with a flexible, hands on attitude, and must enjoy working with both horses and customers.
You will need to be able to demonstrate previous relevant industry experience and ideally hold a relevant qualification at a level 2 or above. The post does require a driving licence for use of the onsite vehicle. Hours are full time and include working a Tuesday evening and
Saturday but you will also be required to cover holidays/ show days.
Starting pay NMW but dependant on qualifications/experience.
