A rather soggy few days! Lots of wet dog walks and wet visits to the ponies!
Beau and Max are warm in their stables, tucked up with lots of hayšŸ„° Chester has also come in for the night due to us being due 24 hours of torrential rain šŸ˜“
This weekend Iā€™m off to see my gorgeous Tino, in Lincoln which Iā€™m very much looking forward to!

My poor car has been stuffed with bales of hay as wasnā€™t expecting to be bringing Chester in during the summer, but here we are!šŸ˜‚šŸŒ§ļø

This week is another busy one, with 2 gorgeous pooches, Hudson and ruby, 2 nags Beau and Max, and a leopard gecko! Busy busy busy!šŸ„°

In between house sitting, my old OAP has moved yards, heā€™s been very fresh to say the least!šŸ˜‚šŸ«£

Iā€™ve had an influx of messages with lots of new fur babies to go and meet over the coming weeks, how exciting! And my diary for 2025 is officially open!šŸŽ‰

A bit of a different post to normal, Iā€™m very sceptical about making recommendations for fellow pet sitters, as I like to know who Iā€™m recommending is reliable and someone Iā€™d want to look after my own animals, so with that being said, my first recommendations for all pet services would be rpmpetservices and Bethā€™s pet services , both trust worthy, hands on and super reliable!! Both very good friends of mine and people that I call upon when I need support with my own bonkers bunch!

A slightly different one, and not local however Pegasus Sports Horses currently have my young warmblood, Tino, for schooling livery whilst I am out of action, he is having the BEST time ever and has come on leaps and bounds since moving there just 3 weeks ago!

As for grooming, pooches.doggrooming grooms our elderly lab Dave, and he always comes home smelling and looking a million dollars!

A very quiet few weeks in the office as reduced duties are still the case, nearly 3 months in and I was hoping by now weā€™d see some change, however unfortunately notšŸ„²
Been a bit chaotic, first Tino injured himself, then we sadly said goodbye to our beautiful Dalston, who we had the pleasure of being around for 15 years. Such a special, yet angry cat who attacked everyone in her pathšŸ¤£šŸ«£
Last week I had the pleasure of looking after the beautiful Tyson, who was just the coolest old man ever, I had a week full of cuddles and lovingšŸ„°
Then a fly by to see Copper, for a walk and play time, see my last few posts regarding Copper and why heā€™s an extra special VIP on this pagešŸ˜
And most importantly cuddles with our gorgeous Dave, who even in his old age is still as needy as he was as a pupšŸ©µ

Hi all,
Itā€™s been a hectic couple of months, and unfortunately I sustained an injury late January that has left me out of action for longer than I initially anticipated. Any clients that this may affect I have been in contact with, and hopefully have been able to make arrangements to suit all- if you havenā€™t heard from me then donā€™t panic- it just means your booking wonā€™t be affected by my injuryā˜ŗļø
My messenger doesnā€™t seem to be working again for my business page, meaning Iā€™ve missed a number of enquiries, so please follow the link at the top of my page to message me on WhatsApp, hopefully this will avoid disappointment and Facebook are working to get the issue resolved- again!šŸ™„

The less happy part and one that I wish I didnā€™t have to address - I have a number of outstanding payments. As a house sitter I should not have to chase payment, I put a lot of time and effort into providing a 5* service for both yourself and your furry friends, many house sitters request full payment upfront, I have avoided doing this because I like to believe there is enough respect to prevent these issues arising. However because of this, from now on I will be requesting a 25% deposit prior to my services, and that 25% will be taken off final payment on completion of my care period.

This wekeend is a special one! the lovely copper, belonging to Katie JanešŸ’–
Copper was found last August with a chain around his neck and a rope tied to his tail, he couldnā€™t be caught for 3 days due to being so scaredšŸ˜« I had to convince myself I couldnā€™t justify having him myself, and just hoped one of my friends would give him a loving home, which thankfully Katie and Chris did! heā€™s now living his best life with never ending cuddles and treatsā€¦

Lots of long walks to be had for this big boyšŸ’–

I am more or less fully booked all the way up until July now, get your dates in for later in the year ASAP to avoid disappointment šŸ„°

After 7 months of battling with Facebook, I finally have access to to my business page again - apologies for any delay in responding, I think Iā€™m all caught up again!
Weā€™ve had a very busy few months here at home away from home pet sitting!
2023 saw a huge success for my business, where I had a full diary for the entirety of the year, with this being said, my diary for 2024 remains open, with limited availability. Sorting my 2024 diary has been chaotic, but I am so excited to reunite with my 4 legged friends this year and hopefully meet some new 4 legged friends!

As the new year rolls in, I am in a position where the cost of my insurance has gone up, as well as the cost of keeping my animal first aid up to date, so I will be reviewing my prices and this increase in insurance may cause a slight increase in prices, however I am going to try and avoid this where possible!

2023 also saw a lot of cancellations last minute, whilst I understand situations change, please try to give me as much notice as possible as I arrange my annual leave around my periods of pet/house sitting, so where possible I will re arrange my leave!

Thank you all for your ongoing support, kindness and generosity, I received some beautiful Christmas presents from clients and I am so incredibly gratefulšŸ„°

I am currently house sitting for a good friend of mine and her two lovely pups, as well the 12 horses, so itā€™ll be a busy weekend so please excuse my poor replies!

Itā€™s been a busy week for us at home away from home pet sitting services!
Today is my final day looking after the yard of 10 horses, the dogs and the cats, canā€™t forget the fish!šŸ˜‚
Alongside that Iā€™ve been busy supporting people with drop ins and walks during the day for peopleā€™s lovely 4 legged friends!
All whilst completing my final uni assignments, busy busy busy!
Star of the show this week was beautiful Pea, who is an old girl but still keeps me on my toes none the less, she managed to duck the fence, much to my amazement despite being stiff she managed to run away from me and had me chasing her like a mad man!
Iā€™ve had a lovely week, thereā€™s something so therapeutic about being outside constantly and being in the air, Iā€™ve even managed a bit of a tan which is unheard of for us natural gingers!!
I had a photoshoot with my gorgeous T on Monday, Iā€™m looking forward to receiving all of the photosšŸ¤­šŸ¤­
Iā€™ve managed to slot a couple of people in for walks and sleep overs for the next few weeks but my diary is now pretty much full until the end of summer, please still message as I will do my upmost to accommodate for everyone!

Iā€™m house sitting/yard sitting for the next week then have a week off to play ponies and go see Harry styles with my lovely mum! šŸ„°

Iā€™m looking forward to actually being able to ride my horse properly for the next few weeks, although heā€™s most contentšŸ˜‚
