Good Morning,

Reminder - I am away from today, returning Wednesday. I’m not on holiday but not local so I am contactable, just won’t always have great signal!
I will be working through as much admin as possible, so if there’s anything you need just drop me a message 🙂

Lauren is covering all holiday drop in visits and few walks/drop ins
- No groups

Please always check the portal, I’ll be making some updates on there this morning to September schedule, if it affects anyone I will drop you a message.
If you have any September dates you don’t need or would like to add please request these through the portal asap!

I will also be going through each profile to ensure all info we need is in place, if you have anything missing you may get a message from me asking you to complete 🙂

Hello and another little re-introduction to Mal & Pals Pet Services 🐾

I’m Kate, the face behind Mal & Pals Pet Services ♥️

I started Mal & Pals late in 2021 and very quickly realised this was the job for me (about a week!) so I left my office job in March 2022, boarded a plane to New York for a week’s break and returned in my new job, with a few amazing pups waiting to build a trust with me and have great adventures!

I wanted to build a career that I genuinely loved, and working with animals was my answer.

I’m reliable, caring, trustworthy, and I absolutely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and character — because no two pets are ever the same!

At home, I’m kept busy by Bear the pug, family dogs Malibu and Blue, plus my two retired horses Beauty & Turbo 🐴 I’ve had animals of all species all my life, and I’m always happiest in the company of a pet, a cuppa, and a snack! ☕️

I’m also lucky to have Lauren as part of the Mal & Pals team 🤍

Lauren has over 7 years of experience working with dogs and is a dedicated and highly knowledgeable member of the team. She has two dogs of her own, Norah and Brian, as well as two cats, Isadora and Zeta 🐾

She has trained and competed in agility and obedience for over 13 years and holds qualifications in Canine Psychology, Canine First Aid, and Canine Nutrition, achieving Distinctions in all three through the CPD Certified Certification Service.

Lauren plays an important role within Mal & Pals, bringing a wealth of experience, calm handling skills (of the pets and me 🤣), and a genuine love for animals on every visit.

Needs must! 🤣

Today’s emergency water bowl was… half of a treat bag! Before anyone asks, I do normally carry proper travel bowls, I just couldn’t find one this morning.

On the plus side, the water came with a little extra flavour from the leftover treats, so I don’t think there were any complaints! 🐶💧

Return home cleans have been so popular 🙏🏻😍

Love knowing customers are able to come home to a clean home so they can just deal with the dreaded unpacking after holiday then relax!

We have also completed a few helping hand cleans to help people just get back on top after a busy week or even whilst they haven’t been feeling too well ❤️

If you’re away on holiday, we can prepare your home ready for your return so you come back to a fresh, tidy space after travelling or working away.

This can be tailored to what would suite you and your budget, pricing starting from £25.

Return Home Refresh service can include (not limited to):
• Kitchen refresh
• Vacuuming & mopping
• Dusting & general tidy
• Emptying bins
• Pet area freshen-up
• Plant watering
• Opening/closing blinds or curtains
• Putting bins out/in
• Small essentials shop so you can have a brew when you get home!

This service is available as an add-on service for existing pet care clients who are already booked in or looking to book in, or as a standalone booking subject to availability.
