Our Amazing Shetland Pony Summer Camps are in full swing. There’s so much to enjoy at camp. From wonderful long pony rides through our beautiful meadows to learning how to be a vet. Experience the Magic There’s something for every child on Summer Pony Camp, such as a chance to try horse whispering skills. Experience show day, take a long ride to the woods, break for pony craft, and butterfly hunting in the meadows....

It’s summer pony camp time again, and amazingly, we have been running summer camps for 17 years at Shetland Pony Club. We came across this lovely old film of summer pony camps from years gone by, which made us laugh and smile. Over the years, so many of our riders and team come back to see us. It’s been such a joy watching everyone grow up and follow their dreams…and to see that our wonderful ponies were a big part of those long lazy summer days of childhood....

Claygate Brownie and Guides packed visited the ponies to learn all about them and take them for a sunset walk. We are opposite the scout camp at Polyapes that is being threatened by a large housing development in our green belt. The deadline for objections has been extended to 14 July 2025. So many of you have made your voice heard on the destruction of the ancient wood and impact on the wildness of the Scout camp 🙏🏻. Links to object is in the comments below

Worrying about the huge proposed housing development next door to the ranch 😥😥😥

Please help us 🙏🏻. There is a monster planning application in to build a huge housing estate of 250 homes on the hillside directly opposite the Ranch. This is a beautiful ancient greenbelt site full of wildlife and right next to the Scout camp and us. The beautiful unbroken views from the Ranch are much loved by all our visitors and we need you help in protecting our small village of Stoke D’Abernon from this huge inappropriate scheme which has been proposed by developers who have no connection with the site or its ancient heritage and beauty. We will post the links in the comments below where you can object. We really value everyone who helps us . The ponies, whose outdoor life will be disrupted by lights from the development at night cannot object so we must do it for them. Thank you for your help. The planning number is 2025/1097 if you are going in via the Elmbridge Borough Council Website or links are on our page posted in the comments . Please object by 7 July .Thank you ❤️🐴❤️🙏🏻
