📢 NEW OPENING TIMES FROM 1ST SEPTEMBER 🐾✂️

With the schools heading back this week, my opening times will be changing from 1st September to fit around the school routine.

My new opening times will be:

🐾 Monday: 9:30am – 11:30am
🐾 Tuesday: 10am – 2pm
🐾 Wednesday: 10am – 2pm
🐾 Thursday: CLOSED
🐾 Friday: 10am – 2pm
🐾 Saturday: 9:30am – 7pm
🐾 Sunday: CLOSED

✨ Please note: From September, I will only be offering Saturday evening appointments. Evening appointments will no longer be available during the week.

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding while I adjust my hours around the school routine. ❤️

As always, if you're unsure about availability or would like to book your pup in, please drop me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. 🐶💕

Meet the Heart Behind Golden Groomers - Dog Grooming! 🐾

Hi, I’m Michaela, the proud owner and lead groomer at Golden Groomers - Dog Grooming. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. They’ve always been more than pets to me; they’re family, and that’s the same care and respect I bring to my grooming services.

After 14 years of working with animals and completing professional grooming and animal training, I decided to turn my passion into a career. In 2024, I opened Golden Groomers - Dog Grooming with a simple goal: to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun grooming experience for every pup that comes through my door.

When I’m not grooming, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family and family dogs. These moments fuel my passion and keep me inspired to offer the best for my clients.

What I love most about grooming is the connection I get to build with each dog and their owner. Whether it’s transforming a scruffy pup into a showstopper or calming a nervous fur baby during their first groom, I take pride in making every visit special.

🌞 Heatwave Update 🐶

With the hot weather returning, all appointments will continue to run as normal wherever possible.

However, your dog's comfort, health, and welfare will always be my number one priority. If I feel it's simply too hot for your dog to be groomed safely, I'll be in touch to rearrange your appointment.

Likewise, if you feel your dog isn't coping well with the heat, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We can always rearrange for a cooler day.

A few things to keep in mind during the warmer weather:

🐾 Drop-off appointments: Please be mindful of the temperature outside when bringing your dog. Please don't walk dogs to and from appointments, so please take extra care when arriving and leaving.

🚐 Mobile appointments: If possible, please ensure there is a window or door that can be opened for fresh air, or a fan available to help keep your pup comfortable while they're being groomed.

🛁 Bathing & drying: Towards the end of the week, when temperatures are expected to exceed 28°C, I'll be offering all clients the option to: • Skip the bath altogether, or • Have the bath but leave your dog slightly damp rather than fully drying them.
Using a high-velocity dryer in very hot weather can increase the risk of overheating, so these options are simply to help keep your dog safe and comfortable.

We’ve had the pleasure of pampering so many of our regular furry friends, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the trust you place in us. From fresh trims to luxurious baths, every pup brought joy onto the table this month.
