🐾 INTERNATIONAL DOGS DAY 🐾
Today feels like a good day to appreciate just how lucky we are to do what we do ❤️
Being trusted with someone’s dog is a privilege we never take lightly. They’re not just dogs — they’re family. They’re someone’s best friend, their comfort, their constant, and quite often the very best part of their day.
And somehow, we get to become a tiny part of their world too.
We get the excited greetings at the door, the wagging tails, the muddy adventures and the ridiculous little quirks. We get to build relationships with them, earn their trust and watch nervous dogs grow in confidence. We get to know exactly which puddles they’ll aim for, which treats they’ll do absolutely anything for, and which direction they definitely don’t want to walk today 😂
Some stay with us for years, some for only a short while, but every single one leaves their mark.
There are dogs we walk today, dogs we’ve watched grow from puppies into seniors, and dogs who are no longer here but who we’ll never forget 🌈
After all these years and all the paws that have passed through HiKo Hounds, it still feels incredibly special that people trust us with such an important part of their family.
We really do have one of the best jobs in the world 🐾❤️
