Mayfield Dog Lodge

Mayfield Dog Lodge Based in the village of Clophill your dog(s) will stay in the warmth and comfort of our family home and be treated as part of the family unit.

They'll always have company, someone to play with and given care, attention, love and cuddles just as they would at home. During the day they'll be walked in various woodlands/countryside where they can run, play and explore, on or off lead (you decide) with no time restrictions. We are licensed/inspected through Central Beds Council and fully insured through Pet Business Insurance. I am currently

studying Canine First Aid. What we ask of you:
Dogs must
- be happy to share the home with two resident Bouviers
- not be in season
- be completely toilet trained
- not have aggressive tendencies towards animals or people
- be fully vaccinated
- have pet insurance

All you need to do is supply their bed, food and favourite toy/blanket and we'll do the rest. Next door is Bowbelles Grooming Room. We are happy to take your dog(s) to be washed and groomed during their stay if you wish. If so, please advise us when making your booking as grooming rooms generally get booked 4-6 weeks in advance. Mayfield Dog Lodge will no longer operate as of 1st January 2018.

For exactly the same style of day care/boarding you can contact Steph, Harpenden Happy Hounds, on 07882 169225. Steph has been boarding dogs for 12 years. She is featured regularly on the Dog Lodge FB page as we walk together twice a week, so she is already familiar with most of the dogs I've had this year. She is based 5 mins down the Lower Luton Road, very close to Luton Airport, Luton Parkway and M1 J10.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all my lovely customers who I can honestly say all have lovely, lovely dogs.

Back again on this GORGEOUS day. Dusty met someone who looked just like her 😂. And Luna arrived at the Lodge late this afternoon; she'll be taking over from the gorgeous, full of beans, funny Dusty who leaves us early tomorrow morning ☚ī¸.
