🐾✨ A FEW BEFORE & AFTERS… ✨🐾

Just a little peek at some of the gorgeous doggies who have been through the Hair Off The Dog by Kate transformation station recently! 🐶✂️🛁

I’ve been a tad busy lately thanks to the school holidays… apparently everyone wants their children entertained AND their dogs looking fabulous! 😂🙈

So here are a few before & afters from some of my past grooms. Because who doesn’t love a good “HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!” transformation?! 😍

Some came in looking like they’d been lost in the wilderness for six months… 🌳🐕
Some just needed a little tidy-up… ✂️
And some appeared to have brought their entire coat collection with them! 😂

I absolutely LOVE seeing the difference a good groom can make — and even better, sending them home feeling fresh, comfortable and paw-some! 🐾💕

A HUGE thank you to all my lovely clients for keeping me so busy and for your patience while I juggle the school holidays, grooming, washing mountains of towels… and occasionally remembering to eat lunch! 😂☕️

✨ Holiday Notice ✨

Just a little heads up that Hair Off The Dog by Kate will be taking a short holiday later this month. 🐾☀️

If your four-legged friend is due a groom, please get in touch as soon as possible to secure an appointment before I go away. I only have a few appointments remaining, and once they’re gone, they’ll be gone until I’m back!

Thank you so much for all your continued support – I can’t wait to see all my lovely furry clients before my holiday. ❤️🐶

🐾 Tugay & Friedel 🐾

Double the puppies… double the fun… and definitely double the confusion! 😂

Tugay and Friedel, the gorgeous Bedlington Whippet brothers, came to Hair Off The Dog by Kate for what was meant to be their first puppy groom. They had other ideas though, and completely exceeded all my expectations by being ready for a full groom from head to tail! ✂️✨

I’ll admit, I was a little nervous about grooming two bouncy, playful puppies together. The hardest part turned out not to be the grooming at all… it was working out who was who! 🤭

Once they’d both had their baths, they settled beautifully and got straight down to business. They were absolute stars throughout. Like many puppies, they weren’t too sure about the clippers or the dryer around their heads, but that’s completely normal and something we’ll continue to build their confidence with on future visits. 💙

By the end of their pamper session they were looking incredibly smart, complete with their handsome little beards and tidy trims. They each received their puppy keepsake keyring filled with a little of their very first puppy fluff—a lovely little memory for their family to treasure forever. 🐶💕

After all that hard work, they couldn’t wait to get back to doggy day care at Mitton Hall for a well-earned play with their friends! 🐾

It was such a pleasure meeting these two sweet boys, and I can’t wait to welcome them back for their next groom.

From bark to beautiful… with plenty of puppy cuddles along the way. 🩵

☁️ Meet the gorgeous Amber! ☁️🐾

Amber came to Hair Off The Dog by Kate today for her very first groom with me… and what a sweetheart she is! 🥹💕

Can we just talk about her coat?! I have genuinely never felt fur so soft. If someone asked me what I think a cloud feels like, I’d probably point them in Amber’s direction! ☁️😂

It just goes to show that no two Cockapoos are the same. Their coats come in all sorts of textures, curls and waves—and Amber’s was definitely one of a kind!

There was one little hiccup though… 🤭

Mr Hair Off The Dog kindly brought me a brew to the groom room (keeper! ☕❤️), but Amber took one look at him and decided… “No thanks, mate.” 😂

Safe to say she’s definitely a girls’ girl! 💁🏼‍♀️🐶

Thank you for being such a lovely little customer, Amber. We can’t wait to see you again for more cuddles (and to make sure Mr Hair Off The Dog stays at a safe distance! 🤣💜)
