Anyone who is looking for a new dog walker or day care due to K9 kingdom having their licence revoked I would urge you to do your home work. K9 kingdom will more than likely be re branding and using different names. Please check any new business. Ask yourself where did they work before? And how long did they work there for? Some staff are just as guilty as Nicki

With the recent ‘closure’ of K9 Kingdoms Doggy Daycare, we’ve seen a big rise in enquiries – so here’s a little refresher about what we do and how we work!

We’re Vanessa & Sam, a husband and wife team who launched Shire Dogs Socialising Club in June 2025. That means your dogs are always in safe, familiar hands – no strangers, just us every time!

What We Offer:
We’re not a daycare – we run structured 60-minute group sessions on a large, secure field at Marton Meadows.
The field includes a double-gated airlock system, so safety is never compromised.

🐾 Up to 8 dogs per session, with both of us present
🐾 If only one of us is there (not often) we reduce to 6 dogs
🐾 Pick-up & drop-off included
🐾 Dogs never share cages in the van unless they live together
🐾 Each dog is usually out for around 2 hours total
🐾 Safety is always our top priority!!

We’re expanding our services in September!
Two group sessions a day
Swimming Club on Friday mornings – fun, enrichment, and great for joints!

📣 Potential Reopening of LCA Doggy Daycare – Register Your Interest

In light of the recent closure of a local doggy daycare and the reduction in hours at another, we’ve been approached by several owners asking if we’d consider reopening our own.

At this stage, we’re simply exploring the possibility. While nothing is confirmed, we want to gauge genuine interest from our community.

If we move forward, the daycare would be overseen by myself to ensure it meets LCA’s high welfare and training standards. However, we would also be looking to recruit the right experienced and qualified person to manage the day-to-day operations.
