saracen.oakley will be on site with the weigh bridge and to answer any of your feeding questions and to show you how to body score your horse.

Equine obesity is now one of the most common health problems for horses and ponies in the UK
Sophie Saracen Oakley from Saracen Horse Feeds will be hosting a FREE weigh clinic at Whalley Corn Mills Ltd, knowing your horse's accurate weight is essential for the correct dosing of medications & wormer's. There can be a vast difference in weight from a weigh tape to a weighbridge, this clinic will allow you to compare the two.
Healthy weight is crucial for all equines, in particular those prone to or suffering with Laminitis, EMS or Cushings disease.
Body Condition Scoring is an essential part of healthy weight management, Sophie will Body Condition Score your horse and teach you the techniques to assess and monitor your horse on a daily basis.
What to expect!
* Equine weigh bridge to determine the accurate weight of your horse or pony.
* Advice for weight control and year-round nutrition,
* Learn about Body Condition Scoring and how to correctly use an equine weigh tape.
* £2 OFF all Saracen feed
