🐾 Hi everyone, I’m the face behind Zoom & Snooze! 🐾

I thought it was time to properly introduce myself and share a little about the dream behind the business 💛

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, especially sighthounds. I was lucky enough to have my two beautiful whippets, Zak and Finn, for nearly 17 years. They were absolute characters and the inspiration behind so much of what Zoom & Snooze is about. I miss them dearly every single day 💔

From the crazy zoomies to the expert-level sofa snoozing, they completely stole my heart — and anyone who knows sighthounds will understand exactly what I mean 😴💨

Zoom & Snooze was created to offer a calm, cosy, home-from-home boarding experience where dogs are treated like part of the family. No kennels, no stress — just comfy beds, sofa cuddles, secure outdoor space, and plenty of love and attention.

We’re based at Little Middop Farm surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for peaceful walks and relaxed adventures 🐕🌿

I’m so excited to start this journey and build a little community of fellow dog lovers along the way.

Not all glamorous behind-the-scenes work involves cuddling whippets on the sofa… sometimes it’s coffee-fuelled policy writing instead ☕🐾

Busy working through all the policies, procedures & paperwork to make sure every future guest at Zoom & Snooze has the safest, happiest and most comfortable stay possible 🐶

It may not be the exciting part of starting a business… but it’s all part of building something really special 💚

Current job titles include:
📋 Professional form filler
☕ Chief coffee drinker

Hopefully guest paws on the sofa very soon… 💤

A very important delivery for Zoom & Snooze today 🐾⛑️

I’ve officially started my Advanced Pet First Aid training because giving dogs a safe, knowledgeable and loving home-from-home experience is at the heart of everything I want this business to be ❤️

There’s lots happening behind the scenes before I’m ready to welcome guest paws onto the sofa, but every step gets us a little closer 🐕✨

Introducing Zoom & Snooze – Sighthound Home Boarding 💫

Built with love for the speedsters, the snugglers, and the sofa-loving souls… Zoom & Snooze will be a calm, cosy home-from-home designed especially for sighthounds. Think warm blankets, safe zoomie space, and plenty of snooze time 💤

I’m not quite ready to open my sofa to guest paws just yet — there are a few regulatory bits to get sorted first — but I couldn’t wait any longer to start sharing the journey with you all.

If you’ve got a whippet, greyhound, lurcher (or just love them as much as I do), follow along to be part of the adventure from the very beginning 🐶
