Been a while on the main feed… We’ve been super busy behind the scenes! We are on the lookout for a new team member at Thanet Dog Walking! This exciting opportunity is a self-employed role with the chance to build your own clientele around a schedule that suits you.

Services we provide are dog walking, drop in/feeding visits and overnight house sitting.

You would need to be available weekdays and occasional weekends during the daytime for walks and visits, but this will depend on the bookings you choose to take on.

You would need your own vehicle and full driving license. Pet business insurance and DBS check is provided if you do not hold it already, as well as use of our booking software. Experience working with animals preferred!

Hi I’m Chloe and I’ve been with Thanet Dog Walking for a little over a year now👋🏼 I am Pet First-Aid trained, I have a Level 3 Animal Management Extended Diploma and have Canine Behaviour training!

I’ve really enjoyed meeting all of the amazing dogs and getting to know each of their personalities😂 I think my favourite part of the job is seeing how happy the dogs are when I pick them up and them then go wild on walks🤣

I spend most of my free time with my rabbit, Reggie! He’s a very spoilt boy but I wouldn’t have it any other way🐰💙

Hi I’m Olivia! 👋🏼

I’ve owned Thanet Dog Walking for 3 years, during which time I have completed Pet First Aid and Canine Behaviour training. I love the continuous opportunities to grow in this industry, there is always more to learn about our furry friends and how to keep them safe!

My favourite part of being a pet care provider is the bond I build with both my clients and their animals, there is so much trust involved and I’m very grateful so many people have chosen us to look after their beloved pets and homes.

I don’t have my own dog - I have all of yours!🤣 But I have had a cat for 14 years, he’s the worst mascot ever as he absolutely hates dogs (and any other animal)👎🏼

This week marks 3 years since I took over Thanet Dog Walking. It’s been the best job in the world, I’ve been very lucky to meet so many lovely people and animals these last few years. Some of you have been with me right from the start, and some have joined us along the way, we are just grateful that you choose us and trust us with your pets and your homes!

A lot has changed since 2023, notably the arrival of Chloe in January 2025 who has been a great asset to Thanet Dog Walking. Between us we are committed to providing the best care and client communication, and I really appreciate her dedication to the job.

In celebration of the 3 year mark, I’ve included some 2023 throwbacks! Back when I was but a humble hairdresser learning the new craft of animal management 🫣😂

It’s been a journey, thank you all for your continued support🐾❤️

Wow we have been so busy in the run up to Christmas, thank you all for keeping our books filled - we appreciate it! Our last day before our Christmas break is Friday 19th December, so we’re ready to enjoy one more week of walks before we put our feet up for a couple of weeks🥳🎄
