Happy Tuesday ☀️🐾

Welcome to a day in the life of Ellie’s Happy Tails on a Tuesday where the weather reached 31 degrees today! 🌡️

Days like today come with a lot of rearranging, communication, cancellations, and rescheduling walks to ensure every dog stays safe, comfortable, and happy during this extreme heatwave. 🐶💛

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of my amazing clients. I know some of today’s changes were very last minute due to the weather changing so quickly, but I truly appreciate everyone being so accommodating, understanding, and kind when it came to cancelling, rearranging, and rescheduling where possible.

This allowed me to attend to dogs that were home all day, tend to pets that still needed care, and ensure every dog remained as safe and comfortable as possible in the heat. ☀️🐾

Although my day was much shorter physically, it definitely started very early and came with a lot of behind-the-scenes stress — admin, route changes, constant communication, rearranging schedules, and ensuring every single dog and owner was looked after properly.

Thank you all for trusting me, supporting me, and always putting the dogs first with me. It never goes unnoticed 💛

POV: the dogs are now the cameramen at Ellie’s Happy Tails… and honestly, I don’t think I’ve laughed this much in ages 😂🐾

We clipped a tiny camera onto the dogs’ collars to capture their adventures from THEIR point of view… and the footage is absolute chaos in the best possible way 🤣

From zoomies, sniff investigations, chase games, muddy madness, and pure happiness… it’s safe to say the dogs are having the time of their lives right now 🐶💛

We’ve been creating loads of fun new games, activities, and exciting little adventures behind the scenes lately, and there are SO many hilarious and wholesome videos coming soon… I just need to sit down and edit them all first 👀🎥

But for now… here’s a little sneak peek into the madness, the fun, and the joy these dogs bring every single day 🫶

Last Saturday we had our very SECOND Adventure Day of 2026… and it was AMAZING 🤍🐾

We had the best little crew — FENNEL, DOTTIE, BUDDY AND DOUG — and they absolutely loved every second! From lots of playtime, exploring, sniffing and sights to see, there were so many happy faces and wagging tails 🫧✨

Adventure Days are honestly one of my favourite things to do. They’re perfect for owners who have a busy weekend, or for dogs who just love to get out, explore, and socialise in new environments 🐶🌿

Each Adventure Day lasts around 3–4 hours (weather depending)

We can go anywhere on our adventures! Last year we explored places like the Brecon Beacons and Ashton Court 🐾💫
