Super proud of Rufus this week! He is so very clever, loves learning ans showing off his tricks, along with some beautiful heel work.
BUT this week he let me stroke him. He is not a fan of being stroked by anyone other than 'his people'. I never try, we interact by playing and training. This week he had a break and laid on the floor next to me, so I gave his chest a little tickled, he stayed relaxed. If I ventured away from the small area on his chest he either lip licked or moved his paw. As soon as he did this I stopped. He would ask for more tickles. And repeat. You could see his brain processing what was happening. He communicated and I listened. Soon enough he was happy to lay back and close his eyes, seemingly content that he knew he could ask me to stop at any moment and I would do so.

I have been working with Rufus for a few months now. He gets worried by people coming into his house and is noise sensitive. We have been working on building his confidence and helping his humans understand his behaviour. Everyone has put so much into helping Rufus and they can really see that is much more contented in life and able to cope with difficult situations easier!

This is Sasha, we think she has had a pretty rubbish start to life. She is very quiet indoors, has trouble around food times. She enjoys being outside but has had a fear of passing through doors ways. I have spent a few weeks visiting Sasha and with a few things put in place she is much happier!
