Our first Retirement Track Livery is officially in 🙌

Rego went into his new track on Monday and he couldn't have reacted any better!

He bucked in excitement, galloped around every inch of the track. Stepped over the poles, sniffed at the salt lick, tasted the water buffet and gave us a real show! 🐎

Our track is a restricted grazing track located on a hillside (to add in some extra cardio) that helps horses who struggle with weight related issues keep fit and active whilst still living a natural life outside with trees🌳 for shelter and added enrichment to keep them stimulated and moving 💨

I feel a bit emotional (again 😅) and very grateful today at just how much we have achieved!

This is our oldest resident, he's 38, he's very particular about his routine, makes our hearts sit in our throats at least 3 times a day because he still thinks he's 8, but THIS is what our goal was!

To give older horses and ponies a safe and comfortable place to live out their retirement 🥰

We are learning heaps along the way and finding what works for us and the horses, we have a wonderful rapport with all our lovely horse owners and most of the time with their horses too 😅 💛
