☀️Success story!☀️
This calf injured her eye a few months ago so vet Henry anaesthetised her and removed the eyeball - an operation called an ‘enucleation’. You could say she hasn’t looked back since! She has made a rapid recovery and has healed well.

With lambing underway, these are the most popular products at the moment helping both mother and lambs…

🐑 Metacam - this provides pain relief and reduces inflammation which directly aids recovery where swelling or inflammation is involved. This also helps animals to feel better so encourages them to eat and drink, aiding their recovery. There are many circumstances where this medicine is suitable at lambing time including after a difficult lambing. Early treatment is always best so we recommend keeping a bottle in stock. We offer small or large bottles to suit your flock numbers!

🐑 Selekt Restore - these electrolyte sachets contain dextrose making them very palatable (ewes love it!), calcium and magnesium. 1 sachet mixes with 20 litres of water so provides up to 6 rehydration solutions for adult sheep. Use this to rehydrate ewes or provide a boost to any sheep that need some extra care.

🐑 Powdered Colostrum - colostrum is a hugely important factor to ensure your lambs stay healthy in the first few weeks of life - it is their lifeline at a vulnerable period - so quality is key. This premium colostrum formulation can be used as a supplement for lambs who aren’t receiving milk from a mother or whose mother isn’t producing enough milk (such as those with triplets or quadruplets!).
