HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO MY LIL GROOMING SHOP!!
So as most of you know I opened Holland Hounds on 23rd Sept 2019.
Yep right before Covid 🤦♀️
But I was determined, Holland was my 3rd shop so I'd had some practice lol 😆
It takes a lot to run a shop, I wish it was just grooming and that but there is so much to it.
It's been a long 6 years but I love my shop and all the doggies that come to get pampered here.
A lil refresh on my story....
Over the last 10 years since I fell into the dog grooming industry I have worked hard and aimed to be the best I can be. My first shop was Poppys Parlour in 2016, then in 2018 I opened Topknot 2 Tails which was rebranded in 2024 to Auny Ky's in Harwich. And then 2019 Holland Hounds. From 2020 to 2025 I also ran an accredited ICMG training school. Due to my health ive stopped this for now.
But over time ive managed to become:
A Reiki Practitioner
A Dog Psychologist
A Vet Support Tech
A Internationally Certified Master Groomer
C & G level 4 LCGI in business and management
A Grooming Tutor
Pet First Aid trained and I haven't stopped yet!
Grooming is a passion, a way of life and not just a job. And I love every minute of it. Holland was a dream that became a reality and many many more years are ahead. When I opened I started with employees and then over the years got to see them flourish into their own bosses and build their own businesses!!
Holland Hounds is not just a grooming shop its a safe space, a community and everyone is welcome.
We get calls every day and we wish we could fit everyone in but we are booked out quite far out and it's because of our awesome clients and their owners!!! So thank you for your support and custom since I opened.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I'm so proud of my shop and I have some exciting things planned 😏 as well as a REFURBISHMENT in Early Jan 2026!!! 😁😁😁
