No photos today, just a video of the lovely Jake finding his missing person.
Another lovely session in the woods , we missed the rain and it was nice not to be sweltering.
Next one is Tuesday evening 6.30 pm, more teams needed to be able to run this one ,bookwhen.com/highlewsk9

Trailing at one of my favourite venues today, views for miles, we had every season weather wise, warm sun, hail and wind at times.
Tricky scent wise and split trails proved a bit difficult to work out but giving the dogs time to process all the information helps the learning process. All in all a really good session. Thank you everyone!

A morning on the Long Mynd, with a strong wind , sheep, ponies and other dogs as distractions made it quite tough , but as always the dogs amazed me, if they did get distracted they all recovered very well and continued to trail.
Well done to everyone and apologies for running over time wise🤦‍♀️

Today was slightly different as I only had 2 booked on , so rather than cancel we trailed an aniseed trail that I set with a flour shaker.

Dylan took to it straight away, Jake was a little confused as he was used to finding a person, but by the third trail he was off and confidently following the scent.

An interesting change to Mantrailing, I often do this with my own dogs.

Trailing on a lovely sunny day in the woods.
Split trails, taking scent from a bench and contaminated trails made it a bit of a thinking day for some of the dogs, they were all brilliant!
Pozie the Malinois trailed on a single line for both trails, what a transformation, methodical and concentrating the whole trail time, persistence pays off, it’s been a long time coming but Pam has got there, makes it all worth while:)
