WHEN YOU LEAVE THE FOREST

Please ensure you slide the IN USE sign back to VACANT after you have finished using the forest.

We have had a number of phone calls recently with people leaving the sign on IN USE when they leave, and unfortunately this means the next person to arrive loses nearly 10-15 mins of their 30 minute slot, in contacting us and waiting for us to manually check the forest is clear before they can enter the time they have paid for.

Please be considerate for everyone else and be sure to swipe the sign back to VACANT and lock the padlock on the gate when you leave, so that its set up properly for the next person.

Please contact us right away if the gate isn't set up how it should be when you arrive- that way we can work out who left it that way. If we find this process is not being respected properly, we will have no choice but ban people from hiring the forest for lack of consideration for other forest users.

GATE CODE CHANGES

We have changed the way forest bookings receive the gate code to get into the forest.

You will now receive the code to the gate 1 hour before your booking time slot is due to commence via an automated reminder email. The code will no longer be included in your confirmation email at the time of booking.

This change is designed to make it less likely for people to show up and enter the forest at the wrong time, because now no one will have the code to get in, until just before their slot is about to start.

Please check your email/junk folders for your reminder email 1 hour before your slot begins for the new code. The old code no longer works!

ANNOUCEMENT - Forest Opening 📢

The dog forest has opened again! 🥳🥳

We have updated the code on the gate. You will now receive a reminder email 1 hour before your booking commences with your new code inside. We have changed this and taken the code out of the confirmation email, to stop people who come on the wrong day or time knowing the code to open the gate!

Forest closed temporarily due to signficant storm damage ❗️

Any bookings booked in from today (Sat 25th) onwards, please drop us a message and we can reschedule your appointment to a later date once the fences are checked and fallen trees are safely removed.

IMPORTANT REMINDER/INFO

Hi all, just a reminder that this page is used soley for updates for our private hire dog forest and it is not regularly checked for admin (please see the bottom of this post for more info on how to make/reschedule dog forest bookings).

If you are looking to enquire about home boarding, daycare or dog walking services, please get in touch with our main page, Bedlay Gardens - Dog Day Care, Dog Walking & Home Boarding and we will get back to you from there! Our office hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am-6pm and this main page is regularly monitored.

HOW TO MAKE A DOG FOREST BOOKING/RESCHEDULE/CANCEL 🌳🐾

▪️To check availability or book the dog forest, this is automatised through our website www.bedlaygardensdogforest.co.uk! You can book more than one slot, back to back, if you wish to extend your time in the forest.

▪️To reschedule an existing dog forest booking (24 hours notice required), you can do this the "reschedule/cancel appointment" button at the bottom of your confirmation email. Bookings cannot be rescheduled with less then 24 hours notice.

▪️Please note that all dog forest bookings are non-refundable, so if you wish to cancel your booking, you can do this via the "reschedule/cancel appointment" button at the bottom of your confirmation email, but you will not be refunded.

▪️If you have any emergencies whilst you are at the dog forest, call us on 07956301170 or 07958 670328, for immediate help from on site staff!

‼️ If someone is already in the forest during your allocated booking slot or someone attempts to enter into the forest during your slot, please do NOT try to resolve this yourself! We have staff on site 24/7 who are insured to work with dogs (remember many people use the forest with their human-reactive or dog-reactive dog so we will always handle these situations)‼️⚠️
