**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

As most of my doggies families are aware, unfortunately Kennel Cough is doing the rounds 😔
Currently the strain going around is fairly mild, especially for dogs that have had the vaccination. Sneezes and a clear runny nose.
A local vets had 4 cases in, in just one day this week, so it very rife at the moment.

PLEASE if your 4 legged family member shows any signs of sneezing and a runny nose let me know, unfortunately it will mean that they won't be able to come out with me and have fun until the symptoms had totally gone.

Please be careful when walking your dogs, avoid them sharing sticks/balls etc 💙❤️.

Well a busy couple of weeks, busy getting soaked, then dry, then soaked, then dry.....😆
Its a good job that doggies dont mind the wet, whether its coming down from the sky or on a path it's not normally on!!
We had some major fun, zoomies, splashing and chasing in the flooded areas. We also had a change os scenery when the roads were flooded and went to Hengistbury head beach - that was loved.
We saw 2 Egyptian Geese up a tree...yep up a tree, then spoke to a local bird watcher and never knew, but they actually nest in trees!!...learn something new everyday.
We also had 2 birthdays last week, Sunny and Ruby, they had extra treats!!
Dare I say we also may of got a small glimpse of spring today??...... see last photo 🙏😊

Busy, busy last week. Some super fun times. Ruby and Bailey have really made me giggle with their picture this week......

Ruby and Bailey have really made me giggle with their picture this week...let me know what you think!!......

We had some muddy paws and legs, that only means one thing...fun, fun, fun times

Also, we saw a couple of Egyptian Geese 'owning' a field, and had some sun, rain but no ice or snow 🎉🎉

They dont want the fun to stop!!! Just as I said ' come on then, let's get you on your leads' these 2 decided it was time to play ' chase me ' 🤣🤣 not sure if Albie and daisy were telling Otis and Jess off, or wanting to join in!!

Another busy, fun filled week gone by.
Sniffing, swimming, chasing, getting soaked with the rain but we were all just lovin' it ❤️ 🐕🐶
a couple of dogs saw a Rhea (an ostrich relation) that was up by the fence having a snooze, dont really know what they actually thought of it 🤣
Unfortunately, we did our last walk this week with Doug, we will miss his crazy running and digging to Australia, but we will see him around I'm sure 🙂💙

Well what a 'proper' first week back walking all my besties.

Unfortunately, we did find out that just before new year we lost one of our golden girls 'Lanni' she had been poorly for a fair while. We will miss you Lanni and all our thoughts and love go to your mummy and rest of your family, have fun over the rainbow bridge chasing the balls like you use to 🥎💔❤️

Anyway, I had a little helper on Monday, who did her best at keeping up!!
The weather threw everything at us this week, from freezing temps with ice on the stream 😳 To slightly warmer wet and windy days with the joys of storm Goretti joining us! Still it didn't stop our days of playing, chasing, lots of sniffing and the odd couple of doggies deciding that paddling in the stream was still fun 🥶❤️💙

Be careful if walking dogs in the forest now.

🐖 Today marks the start of pannage season! 🐖

Every autumn, pigs are set free for pannage, a centuries-old tradition dating back to the time of William the Conqueror. New Forest commoners release their pigs to roam the ancient woodland, snuffling up fallen acorns, chestnuts, and beech mast.

It’s an essential practice as the acorns, while harmless to pigs, can be poisonous to ponies and cattle. By clearing the forest floor, the pigs help protect the other free-roaming animals that call the New Forest home.

During pannage season, please admire the pigs from a distance - do not feed or touch them.

Drivers should take extra care, as pigs often wander onto roads and autumn conditions such as rain, fog, low sun and shorter days can make visibility difficult.
