Well, after an extremely hard week in the parlour (and it’s only Thursday)
I’m unfortunately having to start my maternity leave a little earlier than I had planned or anticipated.
I was due to finish on the 30th of this month at 38 weeks pregnant but it’s quite apparent to me now that it’s just not possible (much to my disappointment)
I have luckily had the most beautiful easy breezy pregnancy for the majority which is why I thought I could manage going for the 38 week mark but honestly my body has failed me this week, I just physically cannot do it. The heaviness, pressure and overall mental load while being so heavily pregnant has been a shock to my system this week and I need to grow a pair and admit defeat before I make myself ill trying.
I really hate having to cancel and let you all down, both for you and your dogs sake and my very own much needed wage but I really need to start listening to my body.
You live and you learn in these situations I suppose and if I ever have another baby I’ll know for next time when I need to stop.
I am on a groupchat with many local dog groomers and I’ve asked who has appointments available asap to help you all find a groomer for the appointments I’m having to cancel, I’ll attach them below.

Sorry for the lack of posts, being so rubbish with messages and ultimately having to finish early, I feel awful. I’ve not been the best recently and can only apologise.
but I’ll keep everyone informed on when baby girl is here and when I’ll be coming back. I’m sad I’m having to leave this way, it’s not how I envisioned starting my maternity leave.
