I’ve removed 5 ticks from dogs this week - they’re definitely out in full force now!

Make sure to check your dogs regularly, especially if they’ve been for walks in woods or long grassed areas.

Tick removal tools are inexpensive and an easy way to remove them yourself. I always have some with me in the car just in case and I’d definitely recommend all dog owners do too 👍🏼

Time certainly flies when you’re having fun. It’s been another great year with my lovely four-pawed gang. I’m still off gallivanting on my jollies, but I’m missing you all so much and can’t wait to see you all next week! 😁

Dog Owners – Please respect the lead

✅ Do check with other owners before letting your dog interact with a dog on the lead

✅ Do follow the 3 second rule – they can sniff and introduce themselves but after 3 seconds take them away – it's best to keep meetings brief

✅ Do remember that a seemingly friendly dog may lash out if approached when on a lead

❌ Don’t let your dog run over to a dog which is being kept on a lead

❌ Don’t let your dog off the lead if you cannot easily recall them
