I hope everyone is well 😊

Next Sunday 7th September, I will be taking part in the Bala Olympic distance Triathlon (1.2km swim, 37km cycle and 10km run). The decision to take part was very last minute 🙈 and with only 5 weeks of training 😬

I am raising money for the fabulous Tom Harrison House charity ♥️ If you've never heard of Tom Harrison House, they provide a specialist addiction recovery programme for the UK armed forces serving personnel, veterans and emergency services personnel. The work they do is incredible!

I hope you’re all keeping well.

I thought I’d post something a little different.

As many of you know, I groom part-time, but what some of you may not know is that I also have a second job ☺️ I wanted to be a little more transparent and share that I work for a HR consultancy called KR HR & Training Consultancy. We’re a small team of three, and I feel incredibly grateful for both the business I’ve built and the amazing team I’m part of.

This week, we attended the CIPD Festival of Work in London. It was packed with inspiring presentations, fireside chats and panel discussions around wellbeing. I did manage to squeeze in a cuddle with a dog at one of the exhibitions. There was even a dedicated Cuddle Corner in the wellbeing zone!

Experiences like this remind me how closely connected wellbeing is to all aspects of life - whether it’s supporting people or pampering pups.
