Meet some of our last looking for new homes

Please note we are not taking any new animals in, Charlie was commuted to before we closed.

Charlie is a small long haired cross breed. He is approx 2yrs old, neutered and will be having his first vaccines this week.
Seems to be good with other dogs and is a really friendly little boy.

Beatrix - sadly she hasn’t bonded with her new friend in her home so is looking for a new home.
Young adult dutch rabbit. Has been spayed.

Denise would like to announce that after nearly five very successful decades of animal rescue, she has taken the decision to start winding down the rescue with a view of the rescue ceasing to operate by early 2024, as such from now she will no longer be taking in animals or wildlife.

With that in mind can we please request that if you have any dogs or cats that you wish to re-home or adopt that you contact other rescues such as the RSPCA, Dogs Trust or Cats Protection League.

With regard to British Wildlife, you will need to contact your local Vet or other local wildlife rescues who will advise you accordingly.

Any animals which are on the page currently will remain available for re-homing and we would kindly request that any enquiries are made via the page.

Denise and the Team would like to thank those who have supported us throughout the years, especially The George Veterinary Group, Jollyes, Toomers, Rouses and any other organisations and individuals who have provided support in the past.

We would also like to thank the volunteers who have assisted in making the rescue a success.

Seems good with other dogs

Mutley (HOMED)
Approx 7yr old male crossbreed (usually longer coated but had to be shaved)
1st part vaccinated, neutered and chipped
Seems good with other dogs and has lived with children.

Seems good with other dogs and has lived with children. No homes with cats

11 weeks old, 1st part vaccinated and treated for fleas/worms
Taken in as a feral, has come along alway but needs someone with time and patience

Approx 1yr old, very petite
Fully vaccinated, spayed and up to date with flea and worm treatments
Can be sweet but has her moments still so again will need someone with time and patience

Nice to see that Toastie and Marmalade who were taken on from us as semi feral have settled in and enjoying being loved

Meet Spirit the very special spaniel puppy.
Spirit only has three legs as he had to have one removed due to a birth defect, don’t let that fool you though as he is absolutely full of beans.
He is 6 months old and fully vaccinated.
He would suit a home with someone home most of the day, he happily lives with other dogs and cats. If you do have another dog it will need to be able to match his energy levels.
