Why prices matter 🐴❤️
Have you ever wondered why our lessons and activities are priced the way they are?
At Hunters Lodge Riding Centre, we’re not simply charging for the time you spend in the saddle. Your lesson is part of the cost of keeping, caring for and maintaining 28 horses and ponies so that they can continue to provide safe, enjoyable experiences for our riders.
Every one of those horses needs feeding, bedding, farrier care, dental checks, vaccinations, worming, veterinary treatment, equipment, rugs and daily care — and, most importantly, plenty of time and attention.
There are also the costs of maintaining the facilities, arenas, jumps, tack, licenses and everything else needed to keep a busy equestrian centre running safely.
So when you pay for a lesson, you’re helping us cover much more than the time you spend riding. You’re helping us keep 28 horses healthy, happy, fit and cared for, ready to give their best to our clients.
We we keep our prices as low as possible — any lower & something would have to give. Our priority will always be the welfare of our horses and providing a safe, high-quality experience for our riders.
