Please be aware of Blue Green Algae in water sources as the weather has been so hot.
* Blue Green Algae cannot always be seen
* Blue Green Algae is most common in non flowing fresh water ie lakes ponds non tidal rivers
*Blue Green Algae contains harmful Toxins
*Blue Green Algae can cause symptoms within 15 mins but can some times up to an hour after exposure
*Blue Green Algae symptoms
• Vomiting (being sick)
• Diarrhoea
• Seizures or fitting
• Weakness, collapse or unconsciousness
• Disorientation or confusion
• Drooling
• Breathing difficulties
