Another very hot week ahead, particularly from Tuesday, we definitely won’t be doing walks in the day, just house visits where possible or otherwise cancelled walks unfortunately. Other than perhaps a quick walk around the block so they can do their toilets as some don’t go in their gardens. 🩵

I received a message from someone asking for advice on how they can build up to 18 dog walks a day,(not sure how legit it was but still) and it got me thinking, if you go into this business as just a money making venture ‘how can I get the most amount of walks and make so much money a day’, you’re not going to be successful. You might make more money, possibly, but you’ll miss the whole point, which is the love! There’s nothing nicer than the excitement of the doggies when you go and pick them up, their little faces as they’re running along beside you in the field, sniffing everything and rolling about in the mud and puddles, playing hide and seek in the priory(that’s one I play with Arlo, he loves it) but also the relationships you make with the owners and the trust you build, for them knowing that their dogs are safe and loved and having the best time. That’s the most important thing, and everything else comes along over time. 🩷
