COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

🐩 ✂️ GROOMING ✂️ 🐩

We have been instructed by our local council that we must CLOSE our grooming parlour throughout this 4 week lockdown. Aimee will be in contact with you all to reschedule appointments. Unfortunately with this being our busiest time of year, and only 1 groomer it will be impossible for us to fit all cancellations in prior to Christmas (as much as we wish we could!) 🎄
Bookings will have to be seen to in an order of welfare.
For your assurance, ALL cancellations will be seen to before any new bookings will be taken.

Our boarding service is allowed to remain OPEN during this lockdown period. If you wish to book your dog in to stay at the kennels, call the landline as usual.
We have revised opening hours which are currently, as follows;

Monday-Saturday 9am-10am & 3-4pm.

Please note: We are still looking at Sunday hours to find a way that will work best for everyone. If you are looking to drop your dog off/collect on a Sunday please call the landline for the up to date Sunday hours 📞

I am now certified on the correct protocol to keep you and your fur babies safe through COVID-19 when we’re able to commence grooming ✂️
Handover of dogs will take place in the carpark and you will be asked to call to make payment whilst your dog is with me to minimise contact 🐾
I will only be able have 1 dog with me at any time, so appointment times will have to be strictly adhered to in order for me to see to everyone as soon as possible!
Let’s hope Sunday’s announcement brings some good news for grooming 🤞🏼🌟

To all my lovely grooming customers! 🐶

Here is some info to help you keep up with home maintenance of your pooch’s coats during this time.

This is mainly aimed at poodly breeds who are more likely to get matted, along with long haired breeds.

A detangling spray will make the maintenance much easier on your dogs skin and require less heavy brushing.

Slicker brushes are great all round brushes that really get to the base of the coat-this is our main aim! (as most matt near the skin)

I have put together a little diagram of the areas which need more/less attention.

RED= Pay close attention to these areas as they are most prone to matting
YELLOW= These areas can and will matt, but not as quickly as the red areas
GREEN= This area is much less likely to matt, a quick brush through should suffice

Good morning!

SPRING CLEANING 🧹

If clearing out any of the following, we’d be happy to take these from you:

Blankets
Towels
Bed sheets (not duvets or pillows)

You are more than welcome to drop them off during the day when convenient and leave them outside our reception door.

The above will all come in handy for our boarding dogs when we resume as normal.

COVID - 19 announcement 🐾

Amberley Kennels remains open for the following:

NHS & Key Worker boarding/day care/night care/walking dogs all at reduced rates.

Essential boarding for others due to the impact of Coronavirus.

Food sales.

GROOMING- CLOSED

Due to the government guidelines Amberley grooming is now closed until the lifting of the government restrictions. Our groomer Aimee will contact all clients with upcoming appointments that need to be cancelled.

⭐️ NEW SERVICE ⭐️ We currently have plenty of dry food available for sale in our reception area. We are now offering free local delivery for every two or more bags purchased if you cannot pop into us. Pricing ranges from £31-£37.99 🐾
